Lev and Kenma's laser tag chest plates blinked red, signaling they've been shot and are out. Kuroo and Morisuke were too quick in the draw. You were the only player left on your team.

Morisuke stared in shock, knowing he aimed for you. So how did he hit Lev?

Kuroo smirked, proud to have gotten Kenma out. "Well, well, well. Looks like our manager is all alone. Why don't you just surrender?"

You were coming out of a brief daze, having seen your teammates jump in front of you to protect you from getting out. You grinned, an almost evil grin, and looked at the rooster haired boy. "I haven't lost. You have."

Within a split second, you raised the gun and shot both Kuroo and your brother. The quick motion stunned the boys of Nekoma High's boys volleyball club.

Both Kuroo and Morisuke were taken out.

You giggled and bounced with joy. "Yay! I got em out!"

Lev bounced up and down with you. "Yay! Our team won! That was awesome, Y/n!"

You grinned at the tall boy. "Thanks. I know I'm great."

"Cocky.... I like it." Kuroo smirked at you.

Morisuke sighed. "I tried warning you, Kuroo. There's no way to win against Y/n. Once she sets her mind to something, she's unstoppable."

"Our manager is so cool!" Yamamoto just stared at you in awe.

You giggled. "And don't forget it, boys. There's more to me than being a smart, short girl."

Lev, without thinking, ran up and hugged you- picking you up off the ground in the process. "Teach me to do that!"

"Lev.... GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY SISTER!"

"Cake! Cake! Cake!"

The entire team ended up going back to the Yaku residence with you and Morisuke. You were currently chanting for cake, simply because it was a tradition between you and your brother- anytime you beat him at something he'd have to get you whatever food you wanted. So now, the third year libero was carrying your favorite cake to the kitchen for you.

You beamed with pride as you looked at your treat. "Can't wait to dig in!"

Your brother shot you a stern look. "Dinner before cake."

"But-"

"Y/n. Dinner. Before. Cake."

You flinched slightly, knowing you two still weren't on the best of terms- to argue would only end badly. "Right. Dinner first."

The other guys had already known about the growing rift between you two. But to see Morisuke suddenly become slightly more strict with you.... Now that was something that caused almost everyone to tense.

Kenma being the sole exception to that. He walked over to stand beside you, leaning in close to whisper in your ear. "Wanna play a game?"

You slowly turn to face the setter, a small smile spreading on your lips. "Sure... but lemme make dinner for everyone first, ok?"

Kenma nodded, still not moving towards the living room- in which all the others were currently sitting. "Would you like help?"

Your eyes widened at his sudden offer to assist you while cooking. "Uh, sure! Thanks, Kenken!"

And so, Kenma stood beside you, assisting you with anything you needed while preparing dinner.

While you two were working, someone walked in and stood behind you and Kenma, staring intently into the backs of your heads. He remained silent while observing the two of you cook together.

You were too focused on your cooking to notice the person now standing behind you.

But Kenma had already sensed at least one pair of eyes boring into his back. "Is there an issue, Kuroo and Yaku?"

You jumped at Kenma suddenly addressing the two guys you hadn't noticed walk into the kitchen. You quickly spun around and faced the two third years. "Oh, Tetsu, Mori.... I didn't notice you two come in...."

Kuroo flashed his signature smirk. "You two seem cute together."

While his comment confused you, Kenma's face flushed lightly. "Shut up, Kuro."

Morisuke punched Kuroo's side. "OW!"

Your brother glared at him for a moment before turning his gaze to you. "What are you doing, Y/n?"

You gave a blank expression. "Making dinner. What else?"

He shrugged, standing at the counter by you. "You were taking a while.... Why was Kenma in here with you?"

"He offered to help me make dinner. Why?"

Yet again, your older brother shrugged, not willing to give himself away. "Seems kinda weird to me."

"How so, Mori?"

"It's out of character for Kenma to offer to do anything." Kuroo gave his input, slinging an arm around Kenma's shoulders.

Kenma shrugged Kuroo's arm off, pushing the taller boy away. "At least I offered Y/n some help. It was pretty rude of everyone else to not even bother to ask her if she needed or wanted any help with dinner."

You chuckled nervously, having not seen Kenma get so worked up as to retort back at Kuroo. "Now, now... it's alright. I didn't really need much help, if any at all, in the first place. It was very nice of you to even offer, Kenken. No need to make this into a big deal."

Morisuke huffed out a sharp breath. "Whatever. At least it wasn't Lev."

You heard his muttered comment. "What's your problem with Lev?"

Hey hey heyyyyyyy

Long time no see huh

College is exhausting
So much work

However, I've actually been doing pretty well. I've built up a nice group of friends and have been getting involved with new things. I have some new interests and other hobbies now!

I have even tapped a little into religion (for anyone curious, I've adopted the Norse religion... mainly cuz I have heavy Norwegian ancestry). But it's nothing too serious. Kind of just a way to reconnect with my family history a bit. There are other reasons behind it, but I don't feel comfortable enough with sharing that much about myself.

Anyways...

I've really missed all of you and just Wattpad in general. Writing is one of the most relaxing things for me. I haven't been feeling too great and haven't started feeling any better (only got worse) till I decided to lay on my dorm bed and relax. And now, I'm back to writing again... while also watching Markiplier on YouTube.

Thank you all for reading!

Please be patient and expect a few more updates that what I've given recently!

Stay safe!

Have a fantastic day/night!
