You and Lev had eaten your sushi, to which you had found out was more expensive than anything you've ever had before - and it was some of the best food you've had in your entire life.
Once you two were full, you both decided to cuddle up on the couch and watch some movies.
"Lev, it's just a movie. Don't believe that everything on a screen is real."
The tall boy pulled you closer to his large frame, wrapping his long limbs around your entire body. "I know.... But that monster seemed way too realistic!"
You chuckle softly at his childish comment, briefly turning around to give him a reassuring kiss on the cheek. "But it's not real, so you don't have anything to be scared of."
His face flushed as he returned a soft smile. "Well, I have you so I guess there really is nothing to be scared of!"
You felt your cheeks heat up as they began tinting a pink color. "W-what's that got to do with being scared?"
Lev beamed with confidence as he spoke. "Because! You're not scared of anything! You're so brave. If something scary were to happen or something, it'll all be alright as long as I have you. Cuz you'll protect me from scary things, won't you?"
You felt your heart skip a beat from his pure, childlike thought. "That's sweet, Lev. But not even I'm completely unafraid of anything."
"Really? What could possibly scare you?" He seemed baffled by the fact that anything could scare you, the most fearless person in his eyes.
You nod, averting your eyes and breaking the eye contact between you and Lev. "Failure and rejection. Just the thought of failing or being rejected by people I care about terrifies me to death. If I don't seem perfect and get accepted by everyone... what would that make me?"
Lev kissed your forehead, continuing to hug you tightly. "Still perfect in my eyes."
By this point, your face had turned a burning red. "I- I'm not perfect."
"You are to me."
The two of you sat in silence for a bit, letting the words of the conversation settle. Letting it all sink in, it becomes apparent about how deep the feelings between you two are.
Lev cleared his throat, looking away with a flustered expression on his face. "A- anyways... um...."
You giggled. "Let's just focus on the movie, Lev."
He nods, a grateful smile on his face. You both felt relieved as your attention was shifted back to the screen in which the movie was playing on.
This was it. Something new, yet amazing. Up to this point you didn't think anything like this could ever happen to you. Yet here you are, cuddling up with Lev- your boyfriend- while watching a movie in his living room. Nothing could've been better.
After much struggle and heartache, you finally got together with your first crush. You felt a happiness you hadn't felt before. And you knew this was exactly what you wanted.
Lev had formed a romantic relationship with the demon's little sister.
And that's the end
I had planned for more
