The Demon's Little Sister

Roughly, a week passed. You were able to go back to school. No more being sick, nor did you have to deal with the concussion any longer.

However....

You hadn't remembered a single thing from when you were sick. Morisuke already knew that would happen, though he never mentioned it to the team.

So, currently, you were unaware that they had seen you while you were sick and acting like a restless 4 year old. And they were unaware of that fact.

"Hey, guys!" You beamed as you walked into the gym and saw the entire team already there, beginning their warmups.

Lev smiled and blushed, giving a quick - yet overexaggerated - wave. "Hey, Y/n!"

You quickly looked away, hiding the blush beginning to spread across your face. That as something else that started happening frequently, it was also something you didn't really understand- whenever Lev was around, you get all blushy and happy, but don't act that way. You tended to act colder and almost completely uninterested in the boy whenever these feelings came up. You simply didn't understand any of it.

Lev was taken back a bit, he always felt a little upset whenever you suddenly did things like that. It made him worry. Worry that you didn't really like him much... that Kenma would end up being the one you fall for. He let out a sigh and turned to the other guys, falling unusually silent.

Kuroo noticed this, knowing there was going to be a misunderstanding between you two at this rate. He quickly muttered to his libero. "Yakkun, looks like your baby sis takes after you."

Morisuke turned to him, giving a confused expression. "Huh? How so?"

"Totally acting like a tsundere around the guy she likes. Reminds me of you." He gave a small chuckle.

The libero hit him. "Shut up! I'm not a tsundere!"

"Keep telling yourself that. You totally act like one."

"Do not."

"Then stop hitting me and use your words to say how you really feel."

Morisuke fell silent, face turning red.

Kuroo smirked. "Can't say anything?" He bent down to whisper in the shorter boy's ear. "You're red, Yakkun. Redder than-"

"Shut up, you stupid fucking rooster!"

"Fucking, you say?" He quirked a brow suggestively.

The shorter boy hit him again. "Shut up, Kuroo!"

"Ok, ok." He chuckled, then glanced between you and Lev. "But seriously, she's acting ruder to Lev now."

Morisuke shrugged. "About damn time."

"Kenma and Lev both like her. But her feelings are already obvious."

The libero raised a brow. "You know something I don't?"

Kuroo nodded. "She likes Lev."

The shorter boy felt his heart stop. "Are you serious?"

"Mhm. She really does. But she's doing what you did- acting in opposition of how she feels."

Your brother looked between you and Lev. "Shit."

"Unhappy, Yakkun?"

He sighed. "No. I'm happy she likes someone that will hopefully make her happy."

"Doesn't seem like it."

"She's my baby sister, Kuroo. I'm not ready for her to grow up so suddenly."

Kuroo stared at the boy. "She's only 2 years younger than you."

"I know. But still...."

The rooster headed boy chuckled. "What do you want to do about the situation then?"

"Let's help them get together."

Kenma tightly gripped the part of his shirt that rested over his heart, breathing somewhat heavily. He was trying to hold back tears, but failed miserably. 'Why? Why did Y/n have to like Lev? Why couldn't it have been me? Why does this hurt so much?'

The setter had overheard Kuroo and Yaku talking about you and Lev. And what was said made him feel like completely breaking down. This was his first - and maybe only - crush, the first he ever had these types of feelings for someone. And already, he started feeling the heartbreak of falling for someone that was never going to return his feelings. The boy backed against a wall, slowly sliding down as he let out a few quiet sobs.

"Y/n."

You turned to look at the boy, surprised by how serious he looked. "What is it, Mori?"

"I know you like Lev." He didn't show any emotion, simply keeping a straight face.

You gulped, suddenly feeling nervous. "Um...."

"Do you want to be in a relationship with him?"

You nod, remaining silent. You stared at the ground, unable to meet your brother's gaze.

He sighed. "I'll help you."

You quickly look up at your brother. "Really?!"

Morisuke gave you a smile. "Of course. Your happiness means more to me than my own personal feelings towards him."

You smile, tightly hugging your brother. "Thank you so much, Mori! You're the best brother ever!"

"Lev!"

Lev whipped around to face the captain. "What is it, Kuroo-san?"

"Yakkun and I are gonna help you and Y/n get together."

The silver haired boy's eyes widened. "What?"

Kuroo smiled at the younger boy. "We wanna help you and Y/n get into a relationship."

Lev smiled momentarily, but it soon left and was replaced by a saddened expression. "But... Y/n doesn't like me, at least not in that way."

"Forget about how she acts. You know who her older brother is. They're more alike than we realize. Just let your feelings control your actions. You and Y/n would make a cute little pairing."

Lev beamed. "Really?! You think so?!"

Kuroo nodded. "Yup."

"Alright! Help me confess to and ask Y/n out!"

"That's the plan."
