"Alright! We've finished the academic portion of this session!" You stretch, releasing a soft groan as you felt your limbs finally release tension.

Lev flopped back, sinking into the couch. "Ah, it looks like I should order something for dinner for us. Is there anything specific you'd like?"

Your eyes widened, quickly going to check the time - only to find that it was, indeed, late enough to eat dinner. "Wow, I hadn't realized we've been studying this late. Oh, uh, I'm not really sure. Anything will do. It doesn't really matter to me."

He nods, immediately grabbing his phone and going to a food ordering app. "I'll just order from the normal sushi place me and my family use. It's really good, I think you'll like it."

"Ok. I don't really eat sushi all that often anyways. I'll trust your tastes for it."

"Ok! Oh, did you want to start on the volleyball stuff or...?"

You shake your head. "I think we should take a break, if we're gonna continue tonight. If not, we can just eat and call it a night."

Lev nodded. "Alright. I'm not sure if the guestroom has been set up yet. If it isn't, you can stay if my room - only if you want to, though!"

You blink a few times, letting his words sink in until realization hits you. "Oh, I- I, uh, didn't intend on staying the night here...."

"It's fine if you do. It's getting pretty late, and it's dark outside. I wouldn't want you walking back home this late. What if something happened to you? The guilt would eat me up if something happened to you if I let you leave tonight!"

Your face flushed a deep shade of red. "You- you do have a good point there, I suppose.... I guess the best idea would be to stay here instead of trying to walk back home."

Lev smiled, a small blush coloring his cheeks. "I'll get the sushi ordered and check to see if our guestroom is set up."

"Oh, uh, sure."

You watched as the tall boy got up off the couch and walked out of the room, heading towards a different section of the large house.

Yet again, realization hit you. You immediately call your brother in a panic.

"Y/n?"

"Help! I'm in way over my head!"

"I told you that nothing you do would work. Getting information through Lev's thick skull and into his tiny brain was a bad idea on your part."

"Not that! I mean, I stayed later than I intended to and now Lev's insisting I spend the night cuz it would be too dangerous to walk home in the dark!"

You hear Kuroo's laugh over the phone. "Well, he's got a point. I don't see the problem. You like him and now you get the chance to spend even more time around him. Take this opportunity and use it to get even closer to him. By the end of the weekend, you and Lev will be a happy lil first year couple. Then no more awkwardness or frustration on how you and Lev obviously like each other, but neither of you would actually make a move. Some of us have been waiting a long time for this moment. Don't mess it up now."

You sigh. "I know, but... I'm just...."

"Scared?" Your brother inquired.

You shake your head, even though the two third years were unable to see any of your movements. "Nervous. I mean, what if I try doing something but fail? What if Lev doesn't really like me in that way."

"I do." The all too familiar voice sounded behind you.

You whipped around, accidentally putting your phone on speaker and dropping it onto the couch. "L- Lev?"

Lev looked at you, face a blushing mess. "Um... I do like you, in a romantic sense, Y/n."

Your own face turned a deep red. "U- um...."

His gaze shifted to the floor. "I- I'm sorry. I just overheard you saying you were unsure of how I felt towards you. S- so I decided to let you know exactly how I feel about you. I really like you, Y/n - and not just as a friend. I like you way more than that...."

By now, the phone call was completely forgotten about. Morisuke and Kuroo remained absolutely silent as they listened to Lev's confession. They both automatically thought that this would be the worst time to step in. This as them giving you two the space and a little bit of privacy to convey your feelings to each other.

Lev remained standing in the middle of the room, feeling awkward and a growing sense of uncomfortableness. "Um, the guestroom is good if you'd like to stay in it."

You slowly stood up, walking over to him. "Lev...."

"But if you'd rather leave, I bet it wouldn't be too hard to find someone to walk with you. I'd understand if you wanted to get away from me.... It's ok if you put some distance in between us."

"Lev."

"Y-yeah? Wh- what's up?" The boy feared for what might happen next.

You smile as you wrap your arms around his torso and stand on the tips of your toes, pulling your faces closer together until your lips touch. You slowly pull away with a loving look. "I like you too."
