"Hips."

"How?"

"Receiving is all in the hips, Lev." You were explaining the successful receive to Lev yet again.

He still wasn't getting it. "But how?"

"Mori, Tetsu, Kenken- literally anyone else on the team- care to try explaining it to Lev?"

Your brother just huffed, his frown becoming deeper with each passing second. "Still not happy about you grabbing his waist and getting all hands on." He was grumbling about his dislike of you touching Lev to get results, which wasn't the first time since it happened the day before.

Kenma shrugged. "Moving your arms means there's less control over the ball."

Lev was clearly still confused about it. "But how?"

Kuroo chuckled. "Your arms push it, but if you move them wrong the ball will go the wrong way. It's best to keep your arms steady and raise your hips to get the ball into the air. Does that make a bit more sense?"

Lev nodded. "A bit. But I still don't understand something."

You tipped your head to one side. "What don't you understand?"

"Why did you touch me instead of tell me what I needed to fix?"

That question got everyone's attention. All eyes were on you

You sighed. "You weren't understanding a word we were saying. I figured out that you understand things best not from being watched or told, but rather a hands-on teaching approach was best. For example, you actually learn when attempting to play- believe it or not, you did subconsciously make small improvements each time you failed. And then when I made the adjustments for you and only explained what to do when the ball was already coming your way, you had been able to give a good receive. Make sense?"

All the guys nodded, impressed you could actually manage everything. "Yeah."

"I'm thinking we should keep trying those kinds of approaches, at least till your body can use the right form subconsciously."

"How long will that take?"

You stared right into his eyes, a small smile on your face. "Depends on you. Until you can get it right on your own, I'll be manually getting your form correct."

"You make it seem like he's a machine or something...." Kai looked at you with a mixture of concern and nervousness in his expression.

You shrugged. "In a sense, the human body is quite similar to a machine. I mean, if you really think about it."

Kuroo nodded. "She's actually right. Our bodies require a certain degree of maintainence- like with exercise, sleep, and food and water."

"Showers too." You added, taking note that Kuroo is nerdy in addition to being flirty, athletic, cool, crafty, a good leader, and good friend and senpai.

The captain nodded. "Yes, something very important for an athlete." He chuckled.

Funny too.

"Lev, do you think you can manage learning multiple conecpts at once?"

"Hm?" The silver haired boy tipped his head the side, strands of his hair falling away from his head. "What?"

"Like how we learn multiple subjects in school. Do you think you can handle learning different things for volleyball?"

He shrugged. "Sure."

You slowly turned to the rest of the team, a slowly widening smile spreading across your face. "Your turn."

"He's your responsibility!"

You shook your head. "Actually, coach and I spoke yesterday. Due to you guys complaining about my methods, plus me laying on the ground without moving for a while, coach said my job with Lev is to only teach him the basics and help him if you guys can't get through to him. Basically, I'm going back to my manager work while occassionally stepping in for emergencies."

"Demon kouhai!" Yamamoto shouted after your explanation. "She only seems nice! She's definitely the little sister to the demon senpai!"

Lev's eyes widened, trained completely on you and you alone. "What?!"

You softened your expression. "Don't mnid him, Tora's weird."

The mohawk boy didn't shut up. "She's brainwashing Lev! To think I was ginna try asking you out, Y/n!"

You flinched and looked at the boy before giving your brother puppy eyes- something he can't resist when it comes to you. "Moriiiiii, Tora's tryna use me to fulfill his teenage boy fantasies!"

Morisuke was quick to start chasing the team's ace around. "YAMAMOTO, DON'T YOU DARE EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING NEAR MY BABY SISTER!"

You whistled innocently as you went back to eating lunch. "Man, Sho would make a good ace, right?"

Kenma chuckled quietly, quickly covering it up so no one would notice it. "He was too loud, this is much better. Thanks for using your brother to get rid of him, Y/n."

You smiled brightly. "Does this mean we can play vide games together?"

"Sure. I'll just have to make sure Yaku's ok with it."

"I can do that. He never says no to his baby sis. Did I ever tell you guys that he can be a real softy at home?"

Kuroo leaned in, wanting to get closer for the tea. "Go on. Give all details, leae nothing out."

Shibayama quietly spoke up. "Aren't you concerned that Yaku-san might actually kill Yamamoto-san?"

Fukunaga chuckled. "Yaku-san is demon senpai when it comes to temper, aggression, and violence. Y/n is dmon kouhai in the psychological manipulation department, as well as getting her brother to do all the dirty work."

You put your hand against your chest in offense, gasping while maintaining an air of innocence. "I would never! Also, don't expose me for using my big brother as a guardian. He willingly does anything for me."

Lev scooted closer to you. "Yaku-san is scary. Can you keep him from killing me, Y/n."

You turned to Lev with the sweetest smile you've ever worn. "Of course! We're friends after all, Lev!"
