"Did you not pay attention to my form?"

Lev rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment, turning away to avoid eye contact. "Kinda."

"Kinda?"

"I got a bit distracted."

You were in a calm state of disbelief, simply trying to find out what happened. "What distracted you, Lev?"

"You just... it looked really cool! Have you really never played volleyball on a team before?"

You sighed, shaking your head in disappointment. "No. You were supposed to watch to see how to receive."

Morisuke was glaring at the half Russian boy. "Were you just staring at my sister and not learning shit when she demonmstrated to help you?! Don't just eye my sister!"

You placed your hand on your brother's shoulder, shaking your head. "Please calm down, Mori. This one is on me."

You walked back over to Lev and craned your neck to look up at him. "What can I do to help you, Lev?"

The boy's face contorted in confusion. "Huh?"

You gave a gentle smile. "How do you learn best? Maybe I've been going about this wrong. What should I change for you to understand this better?"

"Umm... I'm not sure. I don't really get what I was doing wrong and couldn't pickup on your technique when you showed me."

Your brother was starting to lose his cool. "What?! ARE YOU REALLY THAT FUCKING STUPID?!"

You turned to your brother with your normal cute smile. "Calm down, don't lash out at him, and please watch your language."

Your brother just crossed his arms over his chest, rolling his eyes. "Whatever."

You turned back to Lev, still smiling. "Ok! New tactic! Try receiving and I'll watch your form!"

Lev gave a small nod. "Ok? What am I receiving?"

You turned your head to look at Kuroo. "Tetsu, can you tone it down a bit for Lev until we get our desired results?"

Kuroo gave a thumbs up, grinning at you. "Done and done, shortcake."

You nodded, then turned back to Lev. "Receive everything he hits your way and I'll see what the problem is while figuring out how to fix it."

Lev nodded, a small smile on his face. "I'm ready whenever." He got into his receiving stance.

"Hit it over, Tetsu."

And with that... a failed receive that ricocheted off Lev's arms and flew straight for your head. Before impact, you moved your dominant hand and stopped the ball from hitting your face. The ball bounced off your hand and continued bouncing off on the ground.

Lev looked in your direction in horror- as did everyone that wasn't the pissed off Morisuke. "I'm so sorry, Y/n!" The poor boy bowed a full 90 degrees.

Kuroo just blinked as he realized how fast you reacted to it. "Wait, did you just block that with your hand?"

"You moved your arms again, Lev." You just ignored everyone's stares and comments.

Lev straightened up, a confused look on his face. "What?"

You slowly walked over to him. "Get back down, like you're preparing to receive again. Tetsu, get the ball and wait till I say you can hit it again."

"Whatever ya say, shortcake."

Lev also did as you said, still confused as to why. "What am I doing wrong?"

You walked behind him and grabbed his waist, not uttering a single word. You remained silent while focusing on how to fix the problem.

Lev gasped. "Wh-what're you doing?!"

While not making a sound, you pulled him by the waist, lowering him to strengthen his balance. You used your legs to kick his into proper positioning. Then you silently walk around him and readjust his arms.

You stepped back slightly, walking around Lev in a circle before stopping while still staring at Lev. "Hit it."

Lev quickly whipped his head to look at the ball that was flying towards him.

"Don't move. Keep your arms still. Raise your hips slightly when the ball makes contact with your arms."

Lev did as you said, the ball perfectly bouncing off his arms and landing right in between him and Kuroo. He turned to you excitedly. "I did it!"

You nod. "Do you know how you did it?"

"Cuz you touched me and told me what to do!"

You had enough. You just let yourself fall onto the ground, landing on your back. "Next!"

"LEV! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

"Yaku, don't kill the new guy!"

"GUYS? I THINK Y/N'S DEAD!"

"What?! OH MY GOD SHE'S NOT BREATHING!"

"WHAT DID YOU IDIOTS DO TO MY BABY SISTER?!"

Ok, so
Here's who said what:

Yaku: "LEV! WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
Kai: "Yaku, don't kill the new guy!"
Inuoka: "GUYS? I THINK Y/N'S DEAD!"
Shibayama: "What? OH MY GOD SHE'S NOT BREATHING!"

And of course, Yaku said the final line.

Kinda just wanted to show what the first serious Lev training session was like
