i once had a film romance, i now have a book romance.
the film included dancing in the kitchen, recreating the tunnel scene from perks of being a wallflower, drinking strawberry lemonade, graduation only a few months away while still being in denial of how the 'imagined' future beyond high school is their upcoming reality.
the film adaptation is usually somewhat similar to the book, but instead it was purely visual.
the book included picnics under sunsets, deep conversations in a pitch black room, true connection despite drastic differences, true love.
the book adaptation shows the thoughts that are on each persons mind and how their differences don't defy their love for each-other, all without visual context.
what would be a movie without a visual?
