the girl i knew would walk through a blizzard, through knee high snow just to get back home to her mother for the night.
the girl i knew would rather stand in the corner of a room, lips sealed shut then to speak the thoughts occurring on her mind.
the girl i knew would let words of absurdity devour her mind, nonsense over sweet dreams.
the girl i knew would take the long way just to watch the sunset, pretending she was on the way home from a rumble.
the girl i knew would cover up the camera of any cellular device surrounding her, just in case the FBI was watching her do nothing alarming.
it turns out that she's much different now, but also not at all.
there's a difference between 'changing' and growing up, one is forced where the other is natural.
she's still the girl i knew then, and i know that's she's always been a natural beauty.
