CHAPTER 6

Rylie's POV

I didn't get to attend my class dahil hindi nya lang ako pinagsarhan ng pinto, she also locked it. And instead na tumambay muna sa ibang lugar, she ordered one of my classmate to tell me to stay outside until she finish her class. I was so embarrassed earlier cause most of the people who walk across our room ay napapatingin sakin.

That's why as for my punishment, I'm here inside Professor Carlton's office to help her check our answers from the quiz she gave last time. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na five sections pala ang hinahandle ni Ma'am.

I glance at her direction. She's on her table doing something in front of her laptop. Kanina pa yan, eh. Kanina pa din ako halos matuyuan ng laway dahil sa sobrang tahimik nya. Only the sound of the aircon and the every tick from the clock are the only noises you can hear.

Speaking of clock, I look at the time from the wall clock at napag alamang 12:15 na. Oh, so that's the reason why my stomach's grumbling already. Nagugutom na ang mga baby wormies ko.

I get up from my seat and walk towards her table. Dun kasi ko sa mini living area nya nagchecheck.

"Excuse me po, Ma'am." I gently call her. Napaangat naman sya sakin ng tingin and that's when I saw her gorgeous pair of eyes again. "Pwede po ba muna tayong mag lunch? Past 12 na din po kasi."

From my eyes, nilipat nya ang tingin sa kanyang wristwatch. "Alright, you may go." Then she continue on what she was doing.

Teka, hindi ba sya nagugutom?

"How about you, Ma'am? Hindi ka pa po kakain?" I ask as I try to get her attention again by taking a peek on her laptop, kaya agad nya akong sinamaan ng tingin.

"Stop being nosy, Miss Monteverde. I'll eat later." Then balik na naman sa pagtatrabaho.

Napaisip naman ako kung pano ko sya mapipilit. Mukha kasing pahirapan muna ang mangyayari sa kanya.

The imaginary light bulb from my head suddenly beam when I remember something. "We should eat now, Ma'am. According to my Lolo, when it's time to eat, you should eat. Wag daw pong pinapahintay ang grasya." I explain while smiling. Hindi nya naman yun sinuklian and instead she just stares at me while crossing her arms under her chest again.

Napaiwas na naman ako ng tingin dahil dun. Besides of the fact that her stares really make me uncomfortable, na emphasize na naman yung gifted nyang hinaharap. Para namang pinapamukha ni Ma'am na size apple lang yung sakin while melon yung sa kanya.

Nanliit, eh.

I saw that she grab her purse and get some money inside before she handed it to me. "Buy me food then. Make sure that it will suit my taste, cause if not, I'll make you go back to the cafeteria." She ordered authoritatively which made my jaw automatically drop.

Is she serious? The cafeteria's on the first floor! Ang hassle plus nakakapagod kayang magpabalik balik.

Why can't she just tell me what she wants? Is this still part of my punishment? Ang gawin nya kong manghuhula?

"What are you waiting for, Miss Monteverde? Buy my food now before I completely lost my appetite." Dahil sa kanyang sinabi, ay dali dali akong lumabas ng office nya and enter the nearest lift.

Ayoko namang tuluyan syang mawalan ng gana. It's a good thing I encourage her to eat, thanks to my Grandfather's advice.

I order a carbonara, 2 pieces of ham and cheese finger sandwiches, blueberry muffin and a bottle of water. Hindi ko kasi alam kung anong gusto nyang beverage.
