Rylie's POV

"Happy Birthday, Ave!" I greeted her as soon as I step inside the venue.

She immediately run towards my direction and smack my head. The hell?

Ang gandang salubong, ah!

"Buti naman at dumating ka pa. We've been waiting for 30 minutes already." She even roll her eyes at me, kaya inirapan ko din pabalik.

"Sorry na. I got stuck in the traffic, okay?" I explain before throwing my gift at her.

Tch! Sana pala hindi ko na lang to binilhan ng regalo.

She glare at me first before opening it. Her eyes twinkle in surprise as she gently get it out of the box. "Oh my gosh! A Tiffany and Co. limited edition wristwatch? I've been wanting to have this for such a long time now. Thank you, Ysa!" I almost loose my balance when she throw herself at me and hug me tight.

I chuckle with her reaction then gently tap her back. "I know, kaya nga yan ang pinili ko, eh. But expect some messages regarding the bills of that watch. Hulug hulugan kasi--Ouch!" Inda ko ng batukan nya.

"How can you call that your gift when I was the one paying for it?!"

"Grabe ka naman, Ave. I already made an advance payment. Ikaw lang bahala sa monthly." I tease her again.

Ayun, ang ending sinaktan na naman ako.

I froze from where I was standing when my eyes caught an attractive woman who's sipping wine right now together with Prof. Alvarez.

She looks so pretty her white strapless bodycon dress with a long slit on side. Exposing her long legs and porcelain skin. Lalo na ngayong naka dekwatro pa sya.

"Ave, I didn't know you invite Prof. Alvarez and Prof. C-Carlton." Dammit! Just saying her surname makes me stutter.

"Well, Prof. Alvarez is the owner of this place kaya automatic na invited talaga sya. But I also wanted to invite Professor Carlton and I'm just too shy to do so, that's why I ask Prof. Alvarez if she could bring her to the party." Explain nya.

I don't even know why I'm so nervous right now, to think that I just saw her yesterday. This all started when she wipe that annoying smudge on my lips. Kaya kahit sa klase ay naiilang na ko sa presensya nya. Well, dati pa naman pala. Mas lumala lang ngayon

"G-Good evening po." I greeted them in an awkward manner.

Shit, hindi ko maiwasan.

"Good evening to you too, Rylie dear. You look so beautiful tonight." And as usual, she pinch my cheeks again. Ewan ko ba kay Ma'am, trip nya lagi ang pisngi ko.

Of course, Professor Carlton didn't even bother looking at me again. She's just busy in her own world like always.

"T-Thank you po. Kayo din po, Ma'am---" I didn't get to finish what I was supposed to say when someone carry me away from the two Professors like a sack of rice! Even they were shock while watching me suddenly get carried by whoever this person is.

Nagpupumiglas ako sa pagkakabuhat ng bwisit na lalaking hindi ko naman makilala. How dare this bastard carry me without my permission?!

"We missed you, Ate Ysa!" The twins said in chorus as soon as they put me down.

They're Avery's cousins. Ahead kami ng dalawang taon sa kanila, and it's been a year since I last saw them. Sa UK kasi sila naka base, and I first met them during their vacation here. Yun lang kasi ang time kung kelan sila umuuwi dito.
