Rylie's POV

"Ayokong umasa sa paniniwalang~ May pag-asa nga ba~ Na baka ang puso ko'y mapagbigyan~"

They all sing at the top of their lungs. Tinalo pa nila yung speaker ng van.

I look at the screen and saw a group of gorgeous women dancing and singing to the song.

"Who are they?" I asked Summer cause I know that she's the only one who will give me a proper answer.

"They're a famous PPOP group here in the Philippines."

"There's Professor Alvarez and friends, oh." Said Ave na mukhang nakabawi na sa pagod kakakanta.

We parked the van so we can pick them up. Pagbukas palang ng pinto, we are already greeted with Professor Alvarez's energetic aura.

"Hi babies! Happy Birthday, Rylie dear!" She gave me a beso, before pinching my cheek after.

"Thank you po." Next to her is Professor Wales who greeted me too.

"Happy Birthday." I can feel my heartbeat racing the moment I heard her voice. Mahina lang yung pagkakasabi nya, but it's enough for me to hear it.

It's unusual hearing this tone from her. It's gentle and soothing. Nakakapanibago.

Isang ngiti ang ginawad ko. "Thank you, Ma'am." We remained our gazes at each other and I swear, she never fails to make the butterflies in my stomach go wild.

Wala pa ring nagbago.

"Oh my gosh! Bloom din kayo?!" Naputol lang ang pagtitinginan namin dahil sa tili ni Professor Alvarez. "Mahiwagang Salamin kailan ba nya aaminin~ Kanyang tunay na pagtingin~"

"Hey, before you start singing, why don't you help with your luggages first?" Inis na saad ni Professor Wales. This is actually the first time I saw her irritated cause she's usually calm.

"Manang, pakitaas na ang mga yan." We laughed kasi inirapan lang sya nito.

"Ma'am, maglalayas ka po ba?" April can't help but asked. Pano ba naman kasi, tatlong malalaking luggages ang dala nya.

"Of course not, April dear. Those bags contain different things. The first is filled with all my swimwear. The second is for my necessities, and the last contain my--"

"Manong, let's go."

"Ang bastos mo, Carlton. Kita mong nagsasalita pa yung tao."

"Your voice irritates me. Shut up." Napanguso na lang si Professor Alvarez at nagmukmok sa gilid.

I chuckled because of her cuteness. Para syang batang naagawan ng candy.

"Ma'am, nasan po si Leyla?" How come she's not around? I didn't even receive any greetings from her yet. Dati maaga palang ay nagmemessage na agad sya.

"Ako yung nandito, but you're still looking for her? Nakakatampo, Miss Monteverde." At nagdrama na naman po sya. Sometimes, I really can't understand how her mind works.

I sighed and give up. Mukhang wala akong makukuhang matinong sagot ngayong araw.

"Is everyone good already?" Summer asked who's currently seating at the passenger seat.

Sya kasi ang pinaupo namin dun, since she easily get dizzy whenever she's not the one who's driving.

Ako na lang pala ang hindi nakaupo at magkakatabi na sila. Professor Wales and Professor Alvarez, Ave and April are all seated next to each other. May available seats pa naman, but they may notice that I'm really avoiding her.
