Rylie's POV
"What do you think of this? I think this will look good on you." She pulled another and I can't help but blush in embarrassment.
Imbalandara ba naman.
"I think one pair is enough, Leyla. Okay na ko dun sa nauna." Bulong ko at pilit na ibinabalik yung kinuha nya.
"Oh no, bud. You need to have lots of them. Para marami ka ring pagpilian."
"Pero kasi-"
"Miss, what do you think? This color suits her, right?" Baling nya dun sa saleslady na mukhang nabigla, or I think namangha is the more applicable term.
Because of the saleslady's response, she glance at me again like she was saying 'I told you so.'
Napabuga na lang ako sa hangin.
"We'll take this, and the red one. Ooh, I think the blue's cute too." And before she can even get it, ay mabilis ko ng napigilan.
"Enough. And what do I need these 10 pairs of two piece for? Iu-UK ba natin to?"
"Of course not! You can use that here in the Philippines. No need to go to United Kingdom pa." Automatic na napa facepalm ako.
"I'm not referring to the country.... nevermind. Let's just pay for it."
"Are you hungry? Do you want us to eat first?" She asked after paying.
Ikaw ba?"
"Alright, then. Come with me and let's look for a shade that will suit my lips." She giggled before pulling me.
And from that moment, alam ko na ang binabalak nya.
"That's Matte, Ma'am." Said the saleslady.
That's the fifth lipstick she picked. That is also the fifth shade she applied on my wrist.
Yes, ginawa nya lang naman akong tester. I don't have any problem with that naman since she would always drag me here during our high school years.
"I think that will look good on you, Leyla." I complimented, referring to the lipstick she applied.
"Really, bud?" She look at herself in the mirror and smiled. Pagkatapos ay ako naman ang binalingan nito.
The next thing she did, shocked me.
Halikan ba naman ako sa pisngi. Sinong hindi magugulat dun?
"What was that for?"
"Nothing. I just tested if this shade really suits me well."
"By giving me a kiss mark?" I frowned in which she laughs in return. I was about to wipe it, when she suddenly stop me.
"No, don't. I'm still admiring the color."
"Ewan ko sayo. Baka may makakita sa ating mga fans mo, ibash pa nila ko."
She chuckled heartily before pinching my cheek. "Don't worry. You have nothing to worry about. Ako ang makakalaban nila if they put harm on you."
"Eh, baka naman hindi ka na nyan magka boyfriend. They might think that you're into girls and refuse to court you anymore."
Her smile faded as her reaction turns serious. "Who says I'm straight?"
