Rylie's POV

I decided to ignore it, cause I'm still comfortable in my slumber. I don't need any distractions from anyone--

I saw Avery's name as the caller.

"What?" I asked, irritated.

"Anong what? Don't you have any plans on attending our class?"

"What do you mean? It's Monday. 1:00 pa ang pasok ko." I look at the time and it's only 7:15 in the morning.

Ang aga nyang mambulabog.

"Well, FYI, today is Monday. Meaning 8:00 ang first subject natin kay Professor Carlton. So, good luck na lang sayo. May you have a peaceful morning, Ysa." That's the last thing she said before ending the call.

"SHIT, SHIT, SHIT!" I immediately went to the bathroom and took a shower.

Halos madapa pa ko sa pagmamadali. Damn, how can I fucking forget? First subject nga pala namin sya!

"Good morning, princess. I made breakfast." I saw my brother coming out of the kitchen wearing my baby blue ruffled apron.

Gusto kong matawa sa hitsura nya ngayon. Bakit ganyan sya magsuot ng apron?

"Kuya, that part goes into your arm, not to your head."

He looks at where I'm pointing at. "Oh, is that where it's supposed to be? Kaya pala ko nahihirapang gumalaw." Mukha naman syang natauhan at inayos ang pagkakasuot nito sa kanya.

I chuckle as I shook my head because of how adorable he is. Mas matanda sya sakin, but sometimes, there are some simple things he's not familiar with.

"I love to eat what you cooked for me. But unfortunately, malalate na po ako sa klase ko." I look at the time and it's already 7:40.

Shit! Twenty minutes na lang!

I run to the door and was about to close it, ng mabilis nya itong hinarang ng kanyang paa.

"At least bring this pancake with you. Don't skip meals, princess!"

I left him, still shouting about his pancakes.

'Sorry, brother. I don't want to meet her dragon side early in the morning.'

I curse for the second time, as I slam my hand on the steering wheel. Fuckingshit, my car engine won't start!

As much as I want to borrow my brother's car, it's such a hassle going upstairs again. Plus, I'm not sure if he brought it here.

No choice, but to wait for a cab.

"Rylie? Is that you?" A voice called my name.
