CHAPTER 5

Rylie's POV

I'm walking through the hallway when Avery scream my name. "Good morning, Ysa!" Bakit ba ang hilig nilang isigaw ang pangalan ko?

I look at her weirdly when she gave me a quick peck on my cheek and hug me tightly. "Ang saya mo naman ata." Puna ko saka kumawala sa yakap nya. She's now smiling from ear-to-ear. Muntanga lang.

"My Dad bought me the latest Lamborghini model as an advance gift for my birthday." She said while controlling her shriek.

Oh! Next month na nga pala ang birthday nya. I wonder what I should give her. The fact that she can buy anything she desires kaya ang hirap regaluhan.

I smirk playfully when an idea cross my mind. "Tutal may bago ka namang kotse, might as well treat me for lunch." Her smile immediately faded as soon as she realize what I said. Pigil naman ang tawa ko while watching her reaction.

"What is the connection of me having a new car and the obligation of treating you lunch?" Inis nyang tanong na tuluyan ng nagpatawa sakin.

Yes po, opo. Kuripot po sya.

"To celebrate what you receive, Ave. Share your blessing, diba?"

"Tangina! Mas mayaman ka pa nga sakin, eh." She insisted while frowning. Sapilitan talaga ang nangyayari whenever we're talking about money.

"Just this once. This is the first time I'm asking you to treat me food." I even put a hint of sulkiness in my voice para magpaawa sa kanya.

Ilang minuto pa syang hindi sumagot, that's why I hug her arm and show her my puppy eyes that no one can resist. Let's see how long you'll last.

"Tch! Fine, next time I will never tell you again whenever I receive something." Ngiting tagumpay naman ako saka sya inakbayan.

We continue walking through the hallway, when we notice Damian putting something at the bulletin board while flirting with our fellow Accountancy schoolmates. Tss, pati ba naman dito, naka abot ang kalandian nya?

"Hala! Bat may nawawalang aso dito? Do this dog belongs to you, Miss?" Ave approach them while holding Damian's arm. She's asking one of the girls who look shock but immediately shook her head innocently.

"Ang aga mo naman mambwisit, Dominic. Alam kong cute ako, but don't compare this face to a dog." Mayabang nya pang sagot.

"Kapal! Eh mas cute pa nga sayo yung nakita kong Shih Tzu kahapon sa may mall. To think na hindi mo pa yun makikita basta brownout." The she laugh out loud. He on the other hand, just frown at her.

"What are you doing here, Damian?"

"I was assign to distribute flyers for our club. Here, the both of you can have one if you're interested." Sabay abot nya samin nung flyers na hawak nya.

"Damn you, Pula! What made you think that we'll join the Men's basketball club?" Inis na tanong ni Ave at halos ibato sa kanya yung papel.

"Why? I just thought that it will interest you. You know Dominic, with a built like yours, pati wrestling pwede mong samahan--- Aray!" Inda nya while trying to remove Avery's hand on his hair.

I glance at the paper I'm holding right now. Oh yeah, ngayon nga pala yung week kung saan kelangan namin pumili ng club na gusto naming salihan.

I'm actually been part of the Journalism club during first year and second year college. Pero naisip ko namang pumili ng iba. To explore and try new things na din.

"What club are you going to join, Rylie?" I flinch when I heard a small voice beside me. Pagtingin ko ay si Beatrix lang pala.

"Hey, Trixie. I'm sorry hindi kita napansin. What were you saying again?"
