CHAPTER 48

Rylie's POV

"What fruits do you want as a topping, babe?"

"I want strawberries, blueberries and some cherries!"

Tahimik lang akong nanonood sa kanila. It seems like they already forgot that I am here dahil tila may sarili silang mundo.

I glance at my woman who's currently slicing the fruits. When she noticed me staring at her, mabilis ako nitong inirapan. I can't help but pout.

She's still mad at me.

Kahit nung hindi pa dumadating si Kehlani sa bahay nya, talagang hindi nya na ko pinapansin.

Yes, she already has her own house na ngayon ko lang nalaman. A massive one in fact. And according to her, this is actually the first time she came here ever after it was built. Well, may kalayuan ito, so I think that's the reason why she chose to stay at her condo.

"Do you want to decorate it, sweetie?" Lihim akong napasimangot.

Kapag kay Kehlani ang lambing nya. But when it comes to me, she's being cold and mean.

"Can I help you, baby?" I decided to talk to Kehlani cause I know that my girlfriend will just ignore my presence again.

"Sure po, Ate." Napangiti ako at lumapit sa kanya.

Instead of just standing beside her, pumagitna talaga ko sa kanila, so that I can also be close to Astrid.

Pansin ko ang masama nitong tingin sakin, but I ignored it and focus my attention on Kehlani.

"Do you know how to decorate a cake po?"

"Hmm, I'm not an expert, but I'll try." One thing I like about this kid, she knows how to say 'po' and 'opo'. She also let others finish their sentences first, before she talks.

Nagsimula na kaming maglagay ng mga toppings. And while we're doing it, I can feel her stare and it seems like she's watching us.

Nilingon ko nga at nginusuan. One of her brows raised before rolling her eyes at me once more.

"I'm sorry, love. Please forgive me." I whispered, but enough for her to hear. Hindi sya sumagot at nagpatuloy sa ginagawa. "Mahal, forgive me na po. I swear, I never wanted those gifts."

"You never wanted it, and yet you look happy accepting those chocolates and flowers from those people." Before I could say something, mabilis na syang nakaalis at lumipat katabi ni Kehlani.

Not giving me a chance to explain again.

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. This is all because of what happened yesterday.

The moment I arrived, red hearts can be seen all-over the campus. Well, it's February now. Meaning...

"Hey, Lie. Happy Valentine's Day!" I got shocked when Basty suddenly appear out of nowhere.

Binatukan ko nga. "You're going to be the death of me, Rodriguez!"

"Ang aga aga, nananakit ka na agad. Napaghahalataan na bitter."

I rolled my eyes at him. Baka sya. "We're riding the same boat. You're single as well, Sebastian."

"That's why I told you before, tayo na lang—Aray!" I'm not a sadist, but he's making me one.

Kung ano ano kasi ang sinasabi. "Do you want another smack on your head?"

"Ang sungit, ikaw na lang nga bibigyan." That's when I noticed that he's currently hiding something behind him. Nang ilabas nya yun, he showed me a bouquet of flowers. "I bought tulips cause I know that they're your favorite."
