i hated naps
i only slept at night
i looked tired & beat up
you wanted me to nap
i said " i can't even though i am tired "
we undressed.
bare skin against, bare skin
now i feel at peace in that moment
so i napped
during the day
when it was bright
and the sun was nowhere near going away soon
i never did that before
i took a nap because of you
