you had everything i was supposed to love
i tried to love you
because you were loving me
the right way
but love doesn't work like that
you were the kind of person who was good for me
you gave me all the right things for it to work out
but sometimes even the right pieces don't fit into the puzzle
you were all i should love
but i didn't love you
i didn't want all the greatness you had to offer
i don't what this says about me
and how i love
i told myself once upon a time ago that i wanted someone like you
but once i got you i realized how wrong i was
you were perfect
never think anything less than that
i tried to love
but i couldn't
