hold them close
love them with all you have
tell them how special they are everyday
let them know you're proud of them
wipe their tears when they cry
hug them everyday
shower them in kisses
let them know they're loved
i say these things because i never got them
and i know how much i was hurting growing up
i don't want any kid to feel how i did
so please be good
love them and
never give up on them
