for all that you put me through
all the pain
the lies
the constant promises you could ever keep
there were a million tears that followed
another million pieces of my already shattered heart
another moment of self-doubt
another day of wishing i never chose you
another day of wanting to leave but not finding the strength
that was what it was always like for me because of you
you chose to hurt me
you never cared
not once
but i still loved you
& spent everyday even the ones filled w sorrow
thanking God for you
wishing we could love each other forever
& giving you my all
it was stupid of me really
but i was inlove
i don't get it
& i never will
because i loved you more than life
but that simply wasn't enough
