Chapter 50: Christmas Eve

~Ha Yoo's POV~

Asahi and I are now eating breakfast with Aunt Yuki, I'm eating a cream of mushroom soup while Asahi and Aunt Yuki is eating a pumpkin soup

How are you feeling Darling?. Aunt Yuki asked while drinking her black tea

I'm feeling much better now Auntie! thanks to you and Asahi of course. I said and smiled at both of them

No problem Darling. Aunt Yuki said finishing her black tea

Ohhh by the way Ha Yoo, we will be helping in preparing for the Christmas eve party later. Asahi said taking my plate and putting it in the sink

Thank you, let's go watch Heartstopper. I said and we went to our living room and started watching Heartstopper

Asahi?. I called to Asahi who is eating popcorn

Hmm?. He said looking at me now

When I touched your hand on the cafeteria....had you ever felt a jolt of energy back then?. I asked looking at his eyes

I then felt the same familiar jolt of energy when he touched my hand

Nothing....I said and returned watching Heartstopper

It is now 5 pm, we all are now in the house, my family, The Hamada's, and the Takahashi's. The adults are now cooking in the kitchen, while me, Asahi, Ayame, Ezume, Sachi and Gabbie are now decorating the whole house.

Ayame can you please hand me the red Christmas ball?. I asked Ayame

Sure! here you go. Ayame said and gave me the red Christmas ball

As I was climbing the ladder my right foot slipped and I'm about to fall. I closed my eyes and I felt that someone caught me, I opened my eyes and it was Asahi who caught me

Thank you Sahi-yah...I said after he putted me down

No problem, be careful, me and Ezume will take it from here, you and the girls just arrange the presents. Asahi said and patted my head

Okay!. I said and kissed him on the cheek before going to Ayame, Sachi, and Gabbie in front of the fireplace

~Ezume's POV~

I'm hanging the Christmas garlands when I saw Ha Yoo is about to fall, that's when I jumped down from the ladder to try to catch her but before I could do that, Asahi already caught her and that disappointed me. I just went back to hanging the garlands.

~Ayame's POV~

Hey, are you okay?. I asked Ha Yoo who is now helping us to arrange the gifts

Yes I'm okay. She said and smiled

Can I ask something?. I asked

Sure!, what is it?. She said and then asked

Are you....and Asahi are now a thing?. I asked

Umm not yet?, but he is courting me now. Ha Yoo wait while blushing

Ohhh! since when?. I asked again

Since December 14. Ha Yoo said and showed me her diamond necklace

Wow! that looks so pretty, did Asahi gave it to you?. I asked surprised

Yep! and Asahi and I have a matching necklace. Ha Yoo said while looking at her necklace

Wow! I'm sooo jealous!. I said pinching her cheeks

~Ha Yoo's POV~

We are now eating and all the foods looks delicious!, I can't wait to try it all hahaha. After eating we all are now at the rooftop the adults are drinking wine, Me, Asahi, Ezume, and Ayame we are drinking beer while Sachi and Gabbie are drinking coke.

So Asahi-san, I heard that you are now courting Ha Yoo?. Ayame asked

Yes, that is true. Asahi said holding my hand

How much do you love her then?. Ayame asked again

I love her with all my life. Asahi now looking at me straight in my eyes

Well then that's great! Kanpai (cheers!). Ayame said and shouted

Kanpaiiiii!!!!. We all shouted before drinking our beer and coke

We then opened our gifts and after the celebration my driver escorted The Takahashi's to their home, then the Hamada's said their goodbyes and returned to their house. Before I go to sleep I chatted Merry Christmas to our group chat with Abigail and Blight.
