"I FEEL LIKE THAT's SOMETHING you should've told me." America said to Ace as she stood next to him, leaning against the counter with her eyes stuck on the side of his face. "Friends," she said, then stopped herself from talking. "No, best friends, don't keep things like that from each other." She was a little upset that she had to find things out the way that she did.
After some long research on the pills that Ace had on the nightstand back in Italy, she concluded that he had bipolar disorder. She could've been wrong, and after the fact, she hoped that she was because something as big as that wasn't likely for Ace to keep from her. She brought the topic to discussion as soon as they touched back down in California. Ace knew that he couldn't hide the secret from her any longer, and laid everything out on the table.
"You should have told me." she pressed the issue. "You should have told me you were bipolar. You're meaning to tell me, you been with this disorder for two years, and you didn't think to tell me?"
Ace rolled his eyes at the air and shook his head. America looked over at him. "Nah." her stare shook an answer from him. He licked his lips quickly before stealing the large, metal spoon from her hand and bumping her to the side since she was about to mess up what he'd already started. He jerked his chin at the baking powder to get her to hand it over. "I don't understand what that got to do with this money we supposed to be getting." he mumbled.
