"WHASSUP, RED, WHITE, and BLUE?" those nostalgic lips said to her. "Missed me?"
Americacut her eyes up to Ace and the second he saw her teeth grinding together, he figured he should've waited a bit longer to reintroduce the two to eachother. He hooked onto her wrist when she tried to walk away from him. "No, no, no." she whispered to herself. "Why would you bring him here?" She dropped her head low and proceeded to jerk it back and forth with her eyes closed so tight that she felt like her eyelids would rip.
"Meri," Ace called to her. Her eyes were still closed. She needed the moment to breathe. Ace lifted his head and let out a harsh breath of air. "We not here for all that extra shit. Now, if you'd let me explain, you'd get it. Come on. Open your eyes." His directions were no use, because she brought her hands up to her face and clasped them there. She felt the need to hide. Though her hands were no use, it soothed her racing heart.
Ace rolled his eyes down at her before looking over at Yan.
He was standing a couple feet away from them with his arms crossed over his chest. With some time to watch how closely America and Ace interacted with one another, he tilted his head upwards and squinted his eyes at the both of them. It seemed like one touch from Ace was able to calm her down, and Yan wasn't too sure how much their relationship had changed since he'd last saw them–– four or five years ago.
