Eddie x Chrissy

Chapter 4 - "I'm in love with you.."

Chrissys pov -

We got to school and I sat with them at lunch. I got a few weird looks but I didn't care. The school day came to an end and there Eddie was, waiting for me at the front door. I walked over to him and we made our way to his van.

When we got to his house, we made our way inside and Eddie insisted we watch a horror movie tonight.

As night fall came we sat on the couch as Eddie fixed up the movie. We sat next to each other. I kinda wanted to lay on top of him and just cuddle....

What am I thinking!!! He doesn't like me like that!!! I thought to myself.

A jumpscare came on and I jumped and grabbed Eddie's arm. I heard him laugh. I quickly pulled away. "I cannot believe you get scared at cheap jumpscares." He said as he laughed.

Another one came on and I grabbed his arm again. "You can keep holding onto it if you want to.... sense you can't stop grabbing it." He said with a chuckle.

"No... I'm fi-" I started but another jumpscare came on and this time I let go of his arm and hugged him, holding on as tight as I could. I sat up really fast. "I'm so sorry!" I said as I scooted to the very end of the couch.

I kept flinching at the jumpscares. I just ended up shutting my eyes really tightly and plugging my ears so I did not get jumpscared again. After about 5 minutes, I felt hands on mine. I opened my eyes and Eddie was in front of me. I unplugged my ears.

"Chrissy we don't have to watch the movie, okay?" He said as he gave me a sweet smile.

"Okay." I said as I got up to get into bed. Eddie followed and layed down as well.

I eventually started to get scared because of the movie earlier and on top of that it was thunder storming.

"Eddie." I said in a shakey voice. I turned over and he looked at me with a sweet smile.

"What? You okay?" He asked with genuine concern. "Your voice is shakey." He said.

I dont know what possession took over me but I just hugged him. "Chrissy, wtf." He said as he pushed me off of him.

"Chrissssyyyy." He said waving his hands in my face. "You just spaced out." He said as thunder boomed and I jumped.

"Chrissy, do you need a hug?" He asked sweetly. I nodded and hugged him. He held my head and rubbed my back.

As he let go, I didn't. I just stayed holding onto him. He went back to holding me and I soon fell asleep.

I woke the next morning to an armed around my waist spooning me. I then realized Eddie was running his hands through my hair. I turned around. "You stayed this time." I said as I smiled.

"I promised I wouldn't leave before you woke up. Also remind never to watch a horror movie with you, you were holding me really tightly last night. Then eventually you turned around but you made sure you took my arm with you." He said as he chuckled.

"Oh I'm so sorry." I said as I was about to sit up.

"No Chrissy it's okay. I like making you feel comfortable here." He said, smiling widely. I bear hugged him. I heard him laugh as I layed on top of him hugging him.

He held my head again. I don't know.. maybe I am in love with Eddie...
