Eddie's pov -

It's been a week now.  I've heard people knock on my door, I never answer. Dustin calls and talks through the walkie but I still don't answer. It's like I couldn't move. I just lost the best person, the person of my dreams.

I have been laying in my bed for a week now, door shut and all I've been eating is cheerios and sometimes drinking water.

I was laying in my bed when I heard a soft knock at my door. Chrissy.

Chrissys pov -

I couldn't do it. I couldn't stand to do this. I knew broke Eddie's heart, I knew it wasn't right, I needed to fix it.

I went over to his house and used my spare key to get in. He hadn't been coming to school so I knew something was definitely wrong.

I went to his room and the sight I saw broke me. I saw Eddie laying down facing the wall, sniffles and whimpers were all that could be heard.

I knocked on the door. "Eddie, sweetheart." I said softly.

He turned around slowly and I could tell he was holding back tears. "I'm sorry, I should have never made us take a break honey. You did nothing wrong, it's okay. It's all on me and if you want we can stop the break right now." I said softly stepping fully into his room and shutting his door. He was staring at me with wide eyes and he was definitely about to cry because I knew he couldn't hold his tears back for long.

"Oh honey, come here." I said as I extended my arms out to him making an air hug.

Without hesitation he ran over and hugged me. He almost knocked me over. He was shaking and crying, holding onto me like I was about to turn into ash any second.

His arms were around my waist, gripping me tightly, his head buried in my neck as soft cries filled the room.

I hugged him, rubbing his back and playing with his hair, trying to sooth him.

After a couple of minutes his cries died down a little bit. I let go of him but he did not let go of me. I lifted up his head with my hands and cupped his cheeks. I felt him melt into my touch with a little smile appearing on his face.

I kissed him gently, a soft, but passionate kiss. He kissed back, melting into the kiss. His hands came up to my arms and held onto them.

I pulled away. "Why don't we go sit down and talk." I suggested, he nodded in return. He walked and sat down at the edge of the bed, I sat next to him.

"Honey, I'm so sorry. I just let that brick get in my head. You did nothing wrong honey. I love you Eddie Munson." I said softly.

"I- I love you to, p- please don't e- ever leave m- me again." He studdered out. He layed his head in my lap and cried into my lower stomach.

"I promise I will never leave you again Eddie Munson." I said softly as I played with his hair and rubbed his back, giving him occasional forehead kisses in an attempt to sooth him.

I soon heard his breathing slow and his cries dissapear slowly. I moved some hair out his face to see the sweet boy sleeping like a baby. He always did with me and he probably didn't get much sleep during this time. I soon fell asleep after, leaning against the wall with him in my lap.
