Chapter 16 - A day Inside

Chrissys pov -

I woke up to the sound of thunder and rain. I then realized Eddie wasn't there. I got up and walked to the kitchen, Eddie wasn't there either. "Eddie?" I called out, no reply.

That's when I started to fall into a dark black bit and I started to get dragged into the fire. I screamed.

"Chrissy!" I heard someone call out, Eddie. "EDDIE!" There he was in my dream accept he was already about to fall into the fire. I started to sob and scream.

I woke up sweating, shaking, breathing heavy, and crying. Then I looked over and Eddie wasn't there again. "Eddie!" I screamed. That's when the door shot open. Eddie stood there confused and worried when he saw my state.

"Sweetheart, what's wrong!?" Eddie asked concerned as he hurried over to me. He sat on the bed and put me on his lap, I cradled his lap and hugged him tightly.

"Sweetheart, you have to tell me what's wrong." He said softly as he rubbed my back and put his other hand on my cheek to lift my head up. I looked up at him as I started to sob.

"Ed's, y- you died and I c- couldn't save you. You got dragged a- and I couldn't s- save you." I said sadly as I started to sob again.

"Hey, hey, shhhh its okay, look at me." He said, I looked up at him. He took my hand and put it on his heart. "See, I'm still here okay?" He said as he placed my hand back down.

"I didn't know what to do Ed's, it w- was terrifying." I said as my sobs died down.

"It's okay. It was just a nightmare. I'm still very much alive and here okay?" He said, I nodded in return. I snuggled into his chest and closed my eyes.

"Thank you Eddie, I love you." I said as I felt my eyes get heavy.

"I love you sweetheart." He said. He rubbed my back and held me close.

I eventually fell asleep.
