Chapter 9 - Breakup and Confusion

Chrissys pov -

Everyone looked at El. That's when Eddie shifted and everyone looked towards the couch. El started to walk towards it. "El don't." Steve said, but El just used her powers and pushed him into a wall.

"Heard you tried to hurt my boyfriend." El said as she lifted Eddie up into the air.

"El stop!" I shouted as did everyone else as it turned into a whole shouting extravaganza. Everyone stopped when Eddie started to get choked.

"EL STOP! MIKE MAKE HER STOP!" I screamed. Mike just smirked before looking back at what she was doing. That's when the door burst open.

"EL STOP!" Max shouted.

"Why? Mike said Eddie hurt him!" El said firmly.

"FRIENDS DONT LIE, BUT BOYFRIENDS LIE ALL THE TIME!" Max said firmly. El dropped Eddie.

Me and Dustin ran over to him while the others ran over to Max and Robin.

"Eddie!" Dustin said as he sat next to him and I looked at him while holding his hand. Eddie looked over at me and smiled.

He sat up just enough to hug my waist. Dustin just looked at us like we were crazy.

Me and Dustin helped Eddie up. We all three sat down on the couch, while the others talked. Eddie rested his head on my shoulder and held my hand.

Lucas came and sat down on the ledge of the couch. Robin and Steve went to the kitchen got some food while Nancy took Mike into the bathroom to chat with him. Will sat on the other ledge next to Dustin.

"Listen El, whatever Mike told you he lied, a lot. Eddie never hurt Mike I mean come on... look at him. He looks like a big baby right now." Max said as El turned to look at us.

"Rude." Eddie mumbled as he dug his head into the crook of my neck. El turned back to look at Max.

"Why would he lie about something like that?" El asked confused.

"Well, the truth is, he really likes Chrissy. Chrissy obviously does not like him and is dating Eddie but Mike is crazy and tried to get rid of Eddie in hopes Chrissy would run to him. If I were you, I would dump his ass." Max said as she smirked at El. Mike and Nancy then walked out of the bathroom.

"Shits about to go down." Lucas said as he looked at all of us. We all nodded in return.

Mike walked over to El and tried to hug her. El used her powers lifted him up into the air. "What the hell El?!" Mike shouted.

"YOU LIE, YOU CHEAT, YOU ARE A TERRIBLE BOYFRIEND! I HATE YOU!" El shouted as she flung Mike across the room. "I dump your ass. Don't ever speak to me again. Max I'm staying at your house tonight." El said firmly.

"Alright, anyone wanna join?" Max asked. Robin, Steve, and Lucas all stood up.

"I would go but I have to drive idiot home and also drop off Will." Nancy said as she grabbed her car keys and they all walked out.

"Wait for me! I'm not staying with these love birds!" Dustin said as he went and chased after Max and them.

"Looks like it's just me and you Eddie." I said. He didn't respond. "Eddie?" I questioned. I moved some hair out of his face to see he was asleep. I got up and went to close the door but Eddie gripped my waist. "Eddie, let go,I have to close the door." I giggled. He groaned as he let go and layed on the couch.

I got up and closed and locked the door. I went back to Eddie and he was laying there peacefully.

"Come on you big baby. You gotta get up." I said as I giggled pulling his arm. He groaned pulled my arm. "Eddieeeee." I said yanking him, but he yanked back and pulled me on top of him. "Eddie! You ass!" I said as I went to get up but he tightly grabbed my waist so I couldn't move.

"Just sleep right here." Eddie said as he smirked at me. I kept squirming but it didn't work and I soon gave up, laying back down on his chest and yawning.

"Looks like someone's tired." Eddie said as he smirked at me.

"I'm not *yawn* tired now let go so we can-" that's when Eddie started to play with my hair and rub my back.

"What was that sweetheart" He asked looking down at me.

"Let go so *yawn* w- we can go to sleep in the bed." I said softly laying my head back down on his chest.

"Your free to leave and get up. No one is stopping you." He said as he let go and stopped playing with my hair.

"Nooooo." I complained, as I listened to his heartbeat.

"What's wrong princess?" Eddie said, I could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Hold meee." I whined.
"But princess, you just told me to let go." He said on a playful tone.
"Pleaseee hold me Eddie." I said as I yawned.
"If you say so princess." He said as went back to rubbing my back and playing with my hair.

"Night night Eddie Munson, I love you~" I said as my words trailed off.

"Goodnight princess, I love you to." He said sweetly as he fell asleep playing with my hair.
