"Hey Mom" Jade called out in a rush
grabbing her bag and walkman then making her way to the kitchen. She brushed passed Jonathan stealing a piece of toast he was buttering up and she threw it in her mouth.

"JJ what the hell, just wait till i'm done making breakfast for everyone then you can grab at it" Jonathan whined.

"Hey baby, where you headed off to in such a rush" Her mother Joyce called out.

Jade loved her mom. She looked up to her she was the best mom/dad that she could possibly ever have.

She was not very fond of her dad he was a dick and never around which she never minded considering when her mom and dad were together all they would do was fight. She hated how her dad treated her siblings and how he would always get violent with them.

One time her mom and dad were in a heated argument and Lonnie had a tendency of hitting Joyce and he started to get too close to her mom and Jade tried to get him to back off and when she did he punched Jade.

"Get the hell out of my house!" Joyce shouted.

Jade, Jonathan and Will were all in Wills room trying to get away from the screaming, but Jade knew it was only going to get worse. "Stay here." Jade said to her brothers as she stepped out of the room.

Lonnie scoffed."Your house!? Please, you're so fucken worthless!" Lonnie shouted back making his way to Joyce grabbing her aggressively.

Jade saw Lonnie grab Joyce from down the hall, she ran over to Lonnie trying to pull him off Joyce. "Get off! Leave her alone!"

Lonnie reached back slapping Jade, Jade shrieked out in pain as she fell to the floor. "Get off me! Jade!" Joyce shouted trying to get out of Lonnie's grasp to go to Jade.

Lonnie reached back and hit Joyce. "You're all fucken pathetic and useless." Lonnie said as he made his way out the door.

That was only one out of the many times Lonnie would hit Joyce and the kids. And that was one of the many reasons why she resented her "Father".

"No can do Johnny and I have to go early because I have a very important chem test." Like her brothers Jades a smart kid and she is a total nerd. She may not look like it considering the way she acts at school but she was actually the one who got Will to start playing D&D when they were younger.

But as they got older he eventually found his own group to play with. But Will never left Jade out. She would play in his friends campaigns every now and then which led her to become pretty close to the kids and she enjoyed their company and they enjoyed hers.

Jade didn't mind school, considering she was good in every subject. But she learned to hate school more and more as she got older. It wasn't because her grades were bad it was simply because how much she would get picked on, she couldn't wait to get out of there.

"Alright then sweetie good luck on your test baby".

"Bye mom love you, love you Johnny, love you Will", she screamed back halfway stepping out of the door. Jade loved her family they understand her. They never judge her. Her family sees a side of her she never shows at school.

At school she is very guarded off no one knows that she is actually the kindest person you would ever meet if they just got to know her.

Jade had a pure soul and was simply kind to anyone that was kind to her but no one at school ever saw that side of her. At school she's seen as a bitch because she's rude to everyone but she has every right to.

Every person who has ever talked to her at school always gave her an insult. The insult being called an attention whore or easy and freak. She hated everyone but her family. She never shared a deep connection like that with anyone else.
