The Battle of Starcourt

El continued to scream and sobbed from the excruciating pain that came from her leg. Everyone was gathered around her terrified, not knowing what to do.

"What is that?" Erica said in disgust looking at Els leg. Something inside of her leg seemed to be moving around trying to get out.

"There's something in there." Mike said looking down at her leg, as El cried out in pain.

"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?" Jonathan said to everyone then running off to somewhere in the Mall.

"El I know it hurts, keep breathing, okay? Nice and easy, you're gonna be okay." Jade said to El who was looking pale.

"Hey, hey, hey. Stay awake, stay awake. Let's get her on this side, on this side." Mike said to everyone as they started to move her slowly.

"It's, uh...You know it's not actually that bad. There was a...The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg, and the bone came out of her knee, six inches or something, it was insane." Robin went on rambling.

"Robin." Jade said stopping her.

"Yeah?" She asked in horror as she continued to look at Els leg.

"You're not helping." Steve said to Robin.

"I'm sorry." Robin said, as Jonathan came running back.

"Okay. All right, El? This is gonna hurt like hell, okay?" Jonathan said with a knife and wooden spoon in his hand.

"Okay." El said holding back sobs.

"Need you to stay real still." Jonathan said as he put on kitchen gloves. "Here, you're gonna want to bite down on this, okay?" He said handing El the wooden spoon as Mike placed it between her teeth.

They all watched as Jonathan lifted up the knife inches away from Els wound. They all stared in horror as they were gathered around her.

"Holy shit. Holy shit." Dustin muttered under his breath. Jonathan hesitated with the knife in hand as he looked up to everyone else for approval.

"Do it." Mike pressed.

Jonathan looked down at Els wound and winced. "Okay." He started to make an incision into Els leg with the knife. El screamed out in pain as everyone groaned and screamed with disgust.

"Oh, shit!" Dustin spat, as Jonathan finished making the incision. Jonathan let out a huff of air as he dropped the knife looking at Els leg.

Jonathan closed his eyes and took a breath before he stuck two fingers into Els would trying to get out whatever was inside. El only continued to yell out in even more.

"Johnny! Stop!" Jade said to Jonathan not being able to take watching El suffer anymore.

"Jonathan!" Nancy shouted trying to get him to stop.

"Stop talking!" Jonathan shot back, with two fingers still in Els leg. El screamed out in pain as she tried to wiggle away.

"No! Stop it! Stop! Stop!" El said as she dropped the wooden spoon that was in her mouth. Jonathan quickly took his fingers out of her wound.

El grunted as she held back her sobs. "I can do it. I can do it." El said sitting up on the floor. El placed her hand out near the edge of her leg as she started to use her powers to take out whatever was inside her leg.

"God! God!" El shouted in pain as she started to take out what was inside her leg. El kept screaming using all her strength to get it out, when the stores glass behind them shattered everywhere.
