The Case of the Missing Lifeguard

"Steve. Steve! Wake up!" Jade said smacking Steve's back. Steve groaned and drooped his hand over Jade to lay her back down. Jade tried to wiggle out of Steve's grasp but he held on tight. "Oh my God, Steve! I swear to God, I'll punch you in the throat right now. Get up!" Jade said as she tried to wiggle out of Steve's grasp."Babe! We forgot to set an alarm! Get your ass up!"Jade said shaking Steve and trying to push his arm off of her.

"We what!"Steve said shooting up from his spot.

"Get up! Now." Jade said. Jade went around the room to grab her uniform and put it on. Jade and Steve spun around the room trying to get ready fast as possible.

"Oh, shit. Let me go tell Will I'm leaving, he probably got home late last night." Jade said walking to Wills room.

Jade went over to Wills room and swung the door open."Hey, bud I'm off to-..." Jade cut herself off when she saw no one in bed. She rushed over to his bed and threw the sheets open and saw no Will underneath them.

"Will!?" Jade called around the house checking every room, but just like last night no one was home.

"What's wrong?" Steve asked as he came from around the corner.

"Will, I don't- I don't know where he is, he's not here." Jade said in a panic.

"It's okay, it's okay. Calm down, last we saw him he was with the kids, maybe he's at the Wheelers." Steve said making Jade run to the phone immediately.

Jade picked up the phone as fast as she could and began to dial."Hello?"The other line said.

"Hi Mrs.Wheeler, it's Jade."

"Hi, hon. How are you?"

"I'm-I'm good. Is Will there? When I got home from work last night he wasn't here. And I woke up this morning and he's still not home. Is he with you by any chance?"

"Yes actually, he's down in the basement with Mike and Lucas."

Jade let out a sigh of relief. "Oh okay. That's a relief. Thank you, Mrs.Wheeler."

"You're welcome hon, bye-bye."

Jade said bye then hung up the phone and threw her head back in relief.

"Everything okay?" Steve asked.

"Yeah, he's at Mikes. Sorry...I just got a little scared." Jade said as she slowly started to catch her breath.

Steve grabbed Jades face. "Hey, you don't have to apologize. I don't blame you for worrying, after what happened. But you don't ever have to apologize, okay?"

"Okay," Jade said softly nodding her head. Steve leaned down placing a kiss to Jades head.

Robin and Jade were working at the shop while Dustin and Steve were "searching for Russians". Robin was sitting on the counter behind Jade taking a break rereading the Dictionary, while listening to the recorded tape, with Jade working the counter.

Jade turned around and tapped Robin."Robin Hood, I'll be right back, I'm going to call my mom."

Robin slid off her headphones. "Is everything, okay?" Robin said in a concerned voice.

Jade nodded."Yeah. It's just...no one was home yesterday or today, so I just want to check in."

"Okay." Robin said nodding her head and putting her headphones back on.

To say Jade was somewhat worried would be an understatement. To say the truth Jade had an off feeling about the whole situation. She hadn't seen her brothers or mom in the past 2 days.
