"Max!" They shouted one more time, they all jumped as Max's body jerked back and her head shot up as she started to pant rapidly.

"Jesus." Steve said. They started to ask Max what the hell just happened, she hesitated not know how to answer.

Max then explained and took them down into the hallway of the school.

"It was here. Right here." Max said shakily, as she showed everyone a blank wall at the end of a hallway. They all stayed silent as the looked at the blank wall.

"A grandfather clock?" Robin asked.

Max nodded her head. "It was so real. And then, when I got closer, suddenly I just...I woke up."

"It was like she was in a trance or something." Dustin said. "Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy."

Max turned around to face everyone. "That's not even the bad part."

Max took everyone back into Ms.Kelley's office and started to read to them all the files they had.

"Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Miss Kelley for help. Uh, they were having headaches, bad headaches that wouldn't go away. And then...then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in a cold sweat. Then they started seeing things. Bad things. From their past. These visions, they just...they kept on getting worse and worse, until eventually...everything ended."

"Vecnas curse." Jade said.

Max started hesitantly."Chrissy's headache started a week ago. Fred's, six days ago."

"You've been having all these symptoms...Haven't you?" Jade asked looking at Max.

Max paused then nodded her head slowly. "I've been having them for five days. I don't know how long I have. All I know is that, for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision. And I just saw that goddamn clock, so...looks like Im gonna die tomorrow."

Jade stressfully ran a hand through her hair."Jesus."

They heard something in the distance and all whipped their heads around at the loud noise. "Stay here." Steve said to everyone as he grabbed a lamp and started to slowly walk out the office.

Nobody listened to Steve and immediately followed closely behind him. They started to walk down the hall slowly, as noise from the distance became louder. They noise was coming closer and closer getting louder as it made its way toward them.

Somebody came from around the corner at full speed making everyone scream and jump in fear. "It's me!"

"Lucas?!" They all asked confused as they flashed their lights at Lucas.

"It's me!" Lucas shouted holding up his hands in the air defenseless.

"Jesus, what's wrong with you, Sinclair!?" Steve shouted.

"I'm sorry." Lucas said as he tried to catch his breath.

"I could've taken you out with this lamp!"

"Sorry, guys. Sorry. I was...I was biking for eight miles." Lucas said as he panted. "Give me a second. Shit...We've got a code red."

"Yeah, no shit." Jade said. Lucas looked behind Jade and let out a sigh of relief when he saw Dustin.

"Dustin. I've been with Jason, Patrick, and Andy, and they've gone totally off the rails. They're trying to capture Eddie, and they think you know where he is. You're in terrible danger."

"All right. Yeah, that definitely sucks, but we've got bigger problems than Jason right now." Dustin said as he turned around to look at Max.

They all went back to Nancy's house that night and slept on the couch in the Wheelers basement.
