The Spy

Night fall came fast and they still weren't at Dustin's house yet. The car ride was awkward considering the fact that Dustin and Steve have never talked before.

"Wait a sec. How big?" Steve asked turning to Dustin, referring to the mini Demogorgan Dustin encountered.

"First he was like that." Dustin said putting his hands together closely. "Now he's like this," Dustin said extending his hands farther apart.

"I swear to God, man, it's just some little lizard, okay," Steve said frustrated with Dustin.

"It's not a lizard," Dustin said irritated because Steve wouldn't believe Dustin.

"Yeah I doubt it's a lizard Steve, I mean come on you saw that big ass monster last year, we all did." Jade said referring to the Demogorgan.

"How do you know," Steve asked.

"How do I know if it's not a lizard," Dustin questioned.

"Yeah, how do you know it's not just a lizard," Steve said. The boys continued to bicker back and forth.

"Guys! Stop it," Jade said trying to get the two of them to stop, but they didn't.

"Because his face opened up and he ate my cat," Dustin finally let out. The car went silent. Jade and Steve looked at each other terrified.

"He ate Mews?" Jade asked shocked.

"Who's Mews,"Steve asked.

"It's Dustin's cat," Jade said.

"Ohhh, right."

"Yeah he ate Mews," Dustin said as he let out a sigh.

They finally arrived to Dustin's house. When they got to Dustin's, Steve went to the back of his car and opened the trunk. In his trunk was Jades bat with screws. Steve grabbed the bat and Dustin led them to his cellar.

When they made it to the cellar Dustin stepped back as Steve flashed the cellar door with a light before opening it.

"I don't hear shit," Steve said looking down at the cellar door.

"He's in there," Dustin reassured.

"Are you sure?" Jade asked.

"Am I sure?" Dustin asked annoyed.

"Yeah. Are you sure he's in there?"

"Yes I'm sure, where else would he go? I locked him in there."

"Dustin, you do realize he's not a normal animal, he's inner dimensional monster so if he wanted to escape, believe me. He can." Jade said making Dustin look terrified.

"Shit." Dustin said.

"Yeah. Shit." Jade as she turned to look back at the cellar door. "Moron." Jade muttered.

Steve poked at the cellar door with the bat. They heard nothing come from the cellar. Steve lifted the bat and hit the cellar door harder. They still heard nothing.

Steve turned around to face Dustin pointing the flashlight in his face.

"All right, listen, kid. I swear, if this is some sort of Halloween prank, you're dead,"Steve said pointing the light in Dustin's face.

"It's not," Dustin said wincing at the light.

"All right," Steve pressed.

"Okay Steve, I think he gets it,"Jade said.

"It's not a prank. Get it out of my face," Dustin said.

"You got a key for this thing,"Steve asked.
