3 Months Later

"You were right. This view is amazing." Steve said looking out over the green hill.

"And this is the best sandwich I've ever had." Jade said taking another bite of her sandwich making Steve laugh.

"How's your mom?" Steve asked.

Jade shrugged."The same. I know she misses him but she tries not to show it, especially in front of El she tries to be strong."

"How's that going? With El."

Jade shook her head. "She's gone threw so much, I just hope this change could be good for her. A fresh start for her. I just- I really miss Hopper, a part of me has always wanted him and my mom to be something."

"Your mom and Hopper!?"

Jade laughed."Yeah, he's just- I saw my mom light up around him, and he was protective of her. And call me crazy but...I feel like he's still out there."

"You think so?"

"I know so. Hopper, he's tough, he can do anything."

"And you, how are you holding up?" Steve asked looking at Jade.

"I really, really don't want to leave. I just want to shove you in my pocket and take you with me." Jade said lying down on Steve's chest with her hands folded looking up at him.

Steve placed his hands over his heart and clutched his chest."That's so romantic." Steve said making Jade laugh.

"I'm serious, I don't know what I'm going to do without you and Robin."

"We can always call or write, and I could go visit you, or you could come visit me. We'll make it work." Steve said. Jades face slightly frowned. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"You made that face."

"Face? What face? I didn't make a face."

"You made that little frown face where you look down and start to bite the inside of your cheek. What's wrong?"

Jade let out a sigh of defeat. "I'm just scared."

"Scared, why?"

"You won't get mad?"

"At you? Never."

"What if while I'm over there...you find someone better...somebody better than...me." Jade said as her voice started to break. Steve moved closer cupping the side of Jades face with his hand.

"I was lost before I started to date you, you shaped me into the person I am today. You've seen the bad in me and you still gave me a chance. You make me a better person, when I'm with you, Im my happiest. So believe me when I tell you, there is nobody else better than you. It's just you and me." Steve said making Jade smile. Steve pulled Jade closer and started to kiss her softly.

"I love you." Steve said softly.

Jade pulled back and looked at Steve.
