Infernal creatures

The wet guys come from the other side and see Steve lying on the ground while struggling to get rid of some strange creature from the upside down. He's fighting these creatures wrapped around his throat with every ounce of strength he has.

It's all dark.
The wind moved Vivi's wet hair from her tired face as she ran to save her best friend.

"Hey! You!" Vivien screams before crashing an oar into the strange creature that makes a terrible noise.
Chilling screams filled the air echoing around.
"Hold him, Robin!" Nancy screams
"Kill him! Kill him!" and Eddie
"Eddie be careful!" Vivien yells
"Fuck!" the long-haired guy was about to be attacked by another creature, but fortunately he ducks out and the girl chases the beast away.
"LEAVE HIM ALONE, YOU SON OF A BITCH"
Eddie is impressed by his strength but at the same time worried because he knows she is running out of energy

"Vivi! Take it off me! Take it off!" while another agrees Robin behind
"Wait, I've got it! Go to hell, asshole!"

"Steve! O my God..." Vivi get close to his friend. He is covered in blood, pieces of skin torn because of the bites. She can feel the fatigue with which he is still standing, she hasn't slept for at least two days and it is now that she is fighting that she feels it.
"JESUS CHRIST!" Eddie yells throwing away the oar with frustration in his voice
"Are you okay?" Nancy asks him with a concerned look on her face
"They took a kilo of my skin, but apart from that, never better."
"Um... do you know if these bats have rabies?" Robin asks
"What?" he asks her frowning
"It's just that anger is my biggest fear and I think it's best to take you to a doctor because when the symptoms appear it's too late. You're basically already dead"
"Ah well good to know" Vivien replies and put the oar on the ground

A pack of killer bats reaches the five boys again
"It's not that many" Steve says
"What were you saying?"
"The woods, let's go!" Nancy suggests for escape from being killed
"Good. Another round other race" Robin sighs and joins the others running

The forest is even worse. Full of bare trees but lifeless. It's disturbing, very.
The boys run through the trees and through the sounds of broken branches.
"Guys! Skull rock!" Vivien points as soon as she sees a familiar place "We should wait here, until the...those infernal creatures are gone"

Time passes and the environment seems to be quieter and without noise.
"Fuck!" Steve collapses to the ground from the excruciating pain of his wounds and Nancy immediately throws herself at him and wraps the wound with a piece of cloth torn from her shirt

"Call us when you're done flirting!"
"Vivi..." Eddie calls her
"Yes?" he turns to the boy. He was beautiful even like thus. His curly and wet hair falls gently on his face
"I was scared that something might happen to you... I just want to make sure you're okay"
"I'm fine, really. It's Steve who's in danger of being very sick. I'm strong."
"Yeah, I see that" he chuckles, looking straight into her eyes, "You're amazing, you know?"
the girl smiles at him
"And you're even more handsome this way, you know?"
He couldn't help it, but at every single thing that came out of Vivien's mouth he is blushing or stuttering. Why?

"So this place is like Hawkins, only
What's more, there are monsters and disgusting things?" Eddie asks climbing a fallen tree
"More or less" Nancy replies "Hey watch out for vines. It's like a hive mind."
"A what?"
"All these creepy vines are like one thing. If you step on one, you step on a bat and on Vecna" Steve explains
"Ah. Shit"

"But what's in our world is also here, right? People excluded." Robin asks them
"Yeah basically" replies Vivien
"So theoretically we can go to the police and steal weapons or bombs to blow up those bats guarding the portal."
"I mean, Robin, I doubt the Hawkins police have bombs, but they do have guns."
"You don't have to go into town for guns. I have guns in my bedroom."
"You. Nancy Wheeler, have guns, plural, in your bedroom?" Eddie asks her shocked
"She's full of surprises, isn't she?" Robin smirking almost proud of the seemingly quiet girl
"One day you almost shot me"
"You almost deserved it." Nancy replies with a smile
"A bit of decency, man" Eddie throws his vest and Vivi nods with to him "He's right Steve, let's finish your bare chest show"

Unexpectedly the rocks and the floor begin to shake. The boys are overwhelmed by the strong shock. Eddie with the instinct to protect her encircles Vivien's waist but they fall. Steve does the same thing with Nancy and leans against one of the large rocks breathing heavy.

"You two never miss the chance to flirt, don't you?" Robin exclaims, "Nice to be the fifth wheel"
"Yeah, guns seem like a really good idea to me." Eddie says
"Yeah, me too" Vivien replies still close to Eddie and breathless
