"Couldn't we take a less creepy route?".
"We're almost there, I think. Don't worry" Nancy reassures Robin.

"Eddie, Eddie hey" Steve calls him "Look, I...wanted to thank you for saving my ass earlier"

"Shit, you saved it yourself. I mean, you made a real Ozzy move".

" Ozzy?" Steve turns to Eddie with a fuzzy look.
" When you bitten the bat" try to explain in vain "Ozzy Osbourne? Black Sabbath? He...bit a bat on stage, you know?"

" Um, I ...no"

"All right. You were very metal, that's it.

"Thank you?" Steve replies confused

"Henderson always says you're a baddasst"

"Henderson said that?"

"Oh yeah. That guy worships you. You have no idea. He's a little irritating honestly." Eddie continues, "Maybe I a little jealous. Maybe because I couldn't accept that Steve Harrington is actually good dude. Rich, popular with girls and not an asshole. It's all too much" he make a moment of silence "I'm still jealous anyway. And that's why I wouldn't dive in to save you and not under normal circumstances" they both chuckle.

"Outside of D&D I'm anything but a hero. If I see a danger I turn my heels and run"

"Hey don't beat yourself up, man" Steve reassures him with one hand on his shoulder

"The only reason I came here is because of the girls jumped right in and Vivien...you know..."

"However that's very strange I never thought that you two were...a thing. How did it happen?" Steve asks him

"Actually, we've hang out a few times, I asked her out, but then the date was missed because...you know." Eddie responds not including the time he came in through her bedroom window on the pretext of giving her back the walkie-talkie.

"Got it. So you like Vivien? 'Cause it looks like you do, which is cool."

"No, i mean yeah of course ... But I don't know if it's reciprocated" he hesitates a moment before continuing "First, on the boat here, we...she kissed me" Vivien turns to check the boys and smiles a little

"What did you say to her?"

"... Nothing" Eddie still replies with his eyes fixed on the girl
"Nothing?"

"I was nervous, I didn't know what to say..."

"How long has it been?"

"What?"

"How long have you liked Vivien?"

"I don't know. I saw her outside school and now we're in the same class. She's a cool person, no one can put her down. When I'm with her, I'm like...if I look at her, I can't stop smiling like a stupid or blushing or stuttering. She has a smile that could light up the whole upside down."

"Oh no someone is in love"
In love? Eddie thinks. He's never been in love. He had crushes in high school and middle school but none like this.

"And what are you two? Best friends?" Eddie asks him detaching his eyes form Vivi's raven hair that drying in the wind have taken a turn more curly than usual

"More like brother and sister. I mean, we've known each other since we were kids, and...I also had a big crush on her, but we were only eight and we were getting together, but that doesn't matter, she's a little sister to me."

"Okay that's...is understandable"

Meanwhile the three girls walked at a fast pace in front of the others
"However, do we really want to ignore your crossed hands as we walked through the woods before?" Robin points out
"But do we really want to ignore when you were flirting with Steve in the Creel's house?" Vivien retorts watching at Nancy ignoring Robin's question
"So are you two lovebirds together or what? You are a really unexpected couple...but you are cute, very cute" Robin raises his eyebrows grinning

"Robin! Guys!" Nancy yells distracting everyone "Here we are"
Nancy leads the way and opens the door slowly. The house is exactly like the one in the world above but it is in horrible conditions. Climbing vines and other slimy things cover the walls, the furniture and the table
"You could use a maid, Wheeler," Robin jokes lighting the room with a torch
"Come on, I don't want to stay any longer than I have to"

The girl takes the box where the weapons should be but there are
"Those aren't guns," Eddie says
"Well the heels are sharp but I was hoping to find something that would shoot bullets." Vivi replies
"I...can't understand"
"Maybe you left them somewhere else?" Eddie supposes
"There's a six-year-old girl in the house, I know where to keep them. And I threw these out years ago."

The girl walks around the room and finds other things that don't add up
"These are from second year chemistry..." Nancy continues, confused, pointing at some school notes "And this wallpaper...is the old wallpaper. And...this mirror was sold with old things. And you...shouldn't be here, I gave you to cousin Joanna two years ago."
"I don't understand" Vivien looks around

Nancy arrives at the bedside table and peruses her diary but notes the written date
"What is it?" Eddie asks her
"I think my guns aren't here just because they don't exist yet."
"They don't exist?"
"This diary should be full of updates, but the last one is dated November 6, 1983."
"When Will disappeared...when the portal opened. We are in the past..." Vivien interrupts

"DUSTIN! DUSTIN! Can you hear me?" Steve's voice from downstairs worries the guys who run right to him
"Robin maybe you were right and he really has rabies," Vivien says looking upset at her friend
"Steve, what are you doing?" Nancy asks him concerned
"He's here. Henderson. That little shit is here, like, in the walls. Listen! DUSTIN! CAN YOU HEAR ME?" He goes on undeterred
"Actually, i can hear him" Robin says and everyone tries to get the kid's attention in vain

"Okay, he can't hear us or he's being an asshole."
"Will found a way." Vivien continues
"What?"
"Will, I find a way to talk to our mom through the lights." Vivi starts turning on the lights but they don't work "Damn it!"

"Hey, guys. Do you see that?" Steve notices that the chandelier emits a strange light
"Oh wow" Vivi places her hand on a light bulb "Put your hand guys"

"Tickles," says Steve
"It feels good," Robin says smiling to Vivien

"Does anyone know morse code?" Nancy asks then
"Um no" they respond in unison
"Wait, "SOS" counts? Is that okay?" Eddie asks
"Anything is good to get us noticed," Vivien replies
The signal 'SOS' not being unknown to the kids in the world above comes immediately to their eyes
"It's working" a spark lights up in her eyes "We make a good team after all"
