Head over heels

Vivien's eyes open tiredly in the sunlight that shines through the blinds of the room.
Noticing Eddie's not with her. She slips on some underwear and a Metallica t-shirt and heads into the kitchen to see him shirtless while he's making...something?

"Good morning" he greets her with a kiss on her cheek running a hand in her raven hair "I made breakfast...these should be pancakes. They should...well I tried" He smiles at her placing the plate and the glass of orange juice on the table
"That's the important - trying" she smiles softly to him
"What do you mean by that?" he tilts his head slightly
"Nothing, I'm sure it will be delicious. Thanks Eds"
"I can still feel a bit of sarcasm in your voice." Eddie looks at her in love as he admires her morning beauty.

"Did you sleep well?" Eddie asks her as he sits crossing his legs in the chair
"I haven't slept like this in...I don't even know how long," they both chuckle and pour some maple syrup on the pancakes, which are decent enough.

"Oh and that-that's my t-shirt. It looks really good on you"
"Yeah, it's comfortable" Vivien grins taking another piece of food from the plate

"Ohh look at this." the girl indicates enthusiastic when she notices a tape "Let me put some music." she exclaims exalted while taking some tapes "Uh Tear for Fears, choose 'Everybody wants to rule the world' or 'Head over heels'?" she looks at him waiting for an answer with the two cassettes in his hands
"There isn't something more... y'know more catchy?" he makes a disgusted face and takes another bite
"Then option two it is"
"Oh no, I don't listen to these 'things' "
"How dare you...however we don't have Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden here"

He was already ready to start complaining jokingly, but he stops "So...what do you think?" 'Head over heels' resonates loudly as the open window brings in a cool breeze that she can feel against her bare legs.
"I thought worse...and it doesn't mean I like it!" he hurries to reply despite the smile printed on his face

"Hey, do you dance with me?" she asks approaching him
"Uh uh i'll pass"
"C'mon" Vivien begins to slowly dance around the room and the shirt rise a bit showing more of her bare legs "Something happens and i'm head over heels, I never find out until I'm head over heels" she sings softly

Eddie can't help but stare at her with a smile, she's gorgeous, and he still can't believe he has the girl of his dreams.

But he can't refuse her doe eyes while she takes his hand and drags him towards her.
"Oh c'mon Munson, you should give this music a chance ya know. You can listen to metal and other genres too."

"You can move well- you can dance well, wait I don't want it to sound creepy to say but-"
"No no three years of cheerleading helped me," she chuckles as she continues to swing around the room
"You- You were a cheerleader?" Eddie's eyes widen not because he was shocked, but it was just unexpected
"Yep...middle school with Cunningham, I was not as good as her. And well I got bored and I threw myself on the music"
"Did you participated at the talent show?"
"Nah, my usual luck, I caught a nice high fever."
"As i though, I would've noticed you otherwise. I was there with my band"

Vivien wraps her arms around his abdomen with her chest pressed against his back and her cheek resting on the boy's shoulder. He stops, stretching his neck backwards, smiling. His cheeks turn red, making smile the girl who relaxed closing her eyes prints a kiss on his neck while her arms surround his waist. " Thank you..."
"For what?" Eddie turns in his embrace and puts his hands on the girl's waist
"For opening up to me last night," she explains while drawing circular shapes with her fingers on his biceps
"I trust you and I feel more comfortable than I've ever felt before when i'm with you" He draws her closer by hugging her tightly. He feels comfortable talking to her, he feels understood and not judged. As he hasn't been for a long time.
