San definitely didn't expect for Wooyoung to take this challenge seriously. Of course he could see, he was very competitive and proud, but seeing him working so hard on the case made him raise his eyebrows at him as he watched Wooyoung working by his own desk.

He wore a hoodie yet again, giving him the tiny look. Half of his long hair was tied with a pencil together into a ponytail, some hair strands still falling onto his face.

He watched as Wooyoung's face tensed in utter concentration, sometimes lighting up when he finds a new clue.

He sighed as he stood up, Wooyoung still not averting his eyes from his screen.

"Stand up, we're going to the school." He coldly said as he grabbed his coat, throwing it over his shoulders.

Surprisingly, Wooyoung followed as he grabbed the car keys of the car they use to drive around for cases.

"For a second I thought you would sit around all day, I'm glad you came up with something useful." Wooyoung boldly commented as they walked down the hall, greeting others on their way.

San rolled his eyes, too tired to engage with his acts. He thought if he ignored him, he would simply forget his presence for a while and it actually worked, until he opened his annoying mouth yet again.

"I'm so excited for my first case!" He slightly jumped while walking beside San. "I know you hate me and all that stuff, but I think I might, no, will be your savior for this case. Just watch and see." He smirked when he finally got a reaction from San.

San scoffed and rolled his eyes. 'Is this kid for real?' He thought while opening the car door, Wooyoung also jumping in.

"Don't get too proud. I don't have the titel as the best for nothing," San mumbled, not interested to begin any kind of conversation with Wooyoung. He doubted they could have any kind of normal conversation and he blamed him for that.

He started the car and began driving when Wooyoung suddenly turned to him in his seat.

"You know what?! We're actually a powerful team!" He spoke with enthusiasm only getting an annoyed groan from San.

"No listen! I got the best graduate title and you are, for whatever reason I can't really comprehend, the best detective at this station." Wooyoung elaborated in a cheerful voice already causing San a headache.

Who was he kidding, his existence alone was a pain.

San didn't miss his disrespect towards his hard earned title and his grip on the wheel tightened with annoyance. Wooyoung only smirked and turned back to the front, watching the people pass by as they drove to the school.

When they arrived, they parked the car near the entrance and entered the school. With the already given information, they knew which class they had to look for.

"There it is!" Wooyoung called and already began knocking. San sighed because of his impatience making him frustrated.

When they could go inside the teacher looked confused, as well as the students. San stepped forward before Wooyoung could say anything stupid and ruin if for him. He was, after all, an amateur.

"Hello, I'm Detective Choi San. We would like to talk to some of you about the matter of Joo Soo-min." San showed his ID card and the teacher seemed to recognize the problem.

While he was talking Wooyoung noticed an empty seat in the classroom, which he assumed would be the kids'. She sat between two girls and they had an annoyed look on their face at the mention of her. Not just them, but nearly all of them.
