They left the car and Wooyoung watched the way San went through his black hair and turned to him. His body faced Wooyoung, but his eyes never met his and he looked hesitant.

"Don't you have something to say to me?" Wooyoung asked him with a small smirk on his face as he tilted his head questioningly to the side.

San looked away and looked around while squinting his eyes a little at the sun.

"Thanks, I guess...," he mumbles quietly.

"Sorry, what? I couldn't hear you well." San sighed, knowing exactly what he was up to.

"I said, I'm thankful for what you did today. I was surprised, you caught up on the situation so fast and was prepared even. I guess you're not that bad after all." San stated and tried to sound, like it didn't matter, but it was enough to put a satisfied smile on Wooyoung's face.

Now that is some progress we have here, well done Wooyoung, he mentally patted his shoulders.

"Thanks. You're not so bad yourself. But next time, have some mercy on my ass...," he complained with a pained expression and rubbed his bum.

That made San chuckle with a small eye roll and Wooyoung froze in place, because oh my god, did he just see dimples on his cheeks? His hard and sharp looks, looked so much softer with a small smile on his face and that made Wooyoung wonder yet again, why he wouldn't smile more often.

Wooyoung softly shook his head, confused why he was so affected by a smile. Let alone San's smile. It was just weird seeing him in a different light than he was used to. He wondered what made San hide his smile, what made him act so tough and build a wall between him and orders, not letting anyone in.

"You should smile more often, it suits you." Before Wooyoung could react he commented on his smile and slapped himself mentally.

San widened his eyes at that, caught of guard by the sudden compliment. Wooyoung had a cute bright smile on his face and San couldn't handle looking at him any longer and looked away.
He cleared his throat and walked off, ignoring Wooyoung's complains.

San turned his chair he sat on in circles.

It seems like the man was being threatened by someone and if he remembered clearly, he told the man to keep something and that he didn't care. But what exactly was he talking about, and could he mean Soo-min by any chance, San asked himself while staring at the monitor with headphones on. He had the camera set up against the wall, but what was important was the conversations her father had in his office. Currently he was talking on the phone, but it was nothing important.

He glanced up to Wooyoung, who sat at his desk and scrolled through his laptop. He had a deep frown on his face and his lips pursed in thought. San tilted his head to the side in thought.

San didn't know what to expect from Wooyoung. He came into his life like a storm and brought everything out of order. He would describe himself as someone put together and prepared for everything, but once he's taken by surprises, he gets very grumpy. He does feel sorry for others sometimes for being so tough hearted to them, but it isn't under his control.
He wouldn't let in any emotions that would distract him from his work and wasn't about to change that any time soon. That was what brought him so much success and someone like Wooyoung wasn't going to destroy that for him.

But somehow Wooyoung managed to raise curiosity in him. He was curious about his personality, how he manages to be so bright even if life gets tough. He had heard his call with ,what he guessed was his little brother, the night before and he sounded so vulnerable. He could hear the tremble in his voice and wondered if maybe he was too hard on him. Maybe he was too ignorant and insensitive.

He knew to not expect the same from everything only because he had it hard. Maybe it came from his past or he was just always like this, but he learned from very little on to not trust just anyone. Even your own father. So it became a part of him and he couldn't be so sure about Wooyoung just yet. He couldn't let his guard down.

Suddenly, there came yelling through his headphone and his attention was immediately brought back to the monitor.

"There is no way he's going to let it go, I told you to quit buying from him!" He heard a woman's voice yelling. He guessed that must be his wife.

"What should I do?! I don't have any money to pay him, we're bankrupt and barely managing the company!" Soo-min's father yelled back with a troubled voice.

"Just let them keep her, we can't pay the debt anyway." Her mother stated tiredly and the man scoffed.

"He's going to kill us, if we don't pay those drugs."

San straightened in his chair immediately and rapidly clicked on the button to check if his computer was still recording the voices.

Wooyoung glanced up from his screen to check the sounds San was making and saw him frowning deeply and scribbling away on a paper. Then ripped of the headphones from his ears and looked up at Wooyoung.

"Did you find anything?" He asked and San nodded and began clicking away on the computer.

"So, their business is currently going bankrupt and some man is currently threatening them for money, because they didn't pay of the drugs bought from him." San explained with a hard look on his face.

"And that's why they kidnapped Soo-min. To threaten the rich family for money, not knowing they wouldn't care about her." Wooyoung added and San nodded.

"I guess, that's really what's happening here."

"But how would we find out who is threatening them?" He questioned and San looked back at him.
He had a knowing look on his face.

"We should track down their numbers to listen to what and whom they're talking about."

And that made Wooyoung uneasy. He had the feeling he knew exactly who would threaten them when it came to drugs and San's determined face gave him the feel, he knew, too.
