After San had left him alone in his apartment he walked to the office himself, not having any money with him and trying to reach Mingi. It felt good to get some fresh air after what happened and he felt like at this point he had to find himself another place to stay. He didn't want to bother San any longer and felt uncomfortable and guilty now looking into his eyes after all the things he had done.

Not only did San know too much about him, but he also gave them away to Choi and ruined their plan to save the poor innocent girl that was suffering because of him. Perhaps Choi kidnapped her to check whether he was true to his words and tell him their missions beforehand, because there was just no other reason to kidnap a child, whose parents do not even care about. He would still try his best to save her, but just knowing he betrayed them and San, who to his surprise was nothing other than good to him, was enough to make his heart ache and remind him that he should have kept his distance to San in the first place.

He kept trying to reach Mingi and finally when he answered after the third call, there came a loud groan from the other side.

"What is it? It's still too early for this...," he heard Mingi complain in his morning voice and even though he couldn't see him he had the strong urge to roll his eyes.

"Wakey wakey, princess Mingi. While you were sleeping the whole day, I became homeless." He tried to say with an unbothered tone, but couldn't help but grimace at the truth. He knew that with Mingi, he didn't have to feel ashamed of anything, but he just couldn't help looking around if someone had heard him or not and lower his head.

He heard some shuffling on the other side of the phone and it was silent for a second.

"What do you mean by homeless? Wooyoung?" This time he was completely serious and the sleepiness left his voice. Wooyoung sighed and counted his steps before answering.

"I couldn't pay my rent. I couldn't pay Kyungmin's medical needs and everything I earn is going to his stay at the orphanage, so he can attend a good school and...," he let out a heavy sigh.

"Why didn't you tell me? I told you I can help! I worked extra shifts this month and earned a good amount of money-"

"Mingi, you won't spend that money on me. I know your mother needs it for her medial treatment." Mingi sounded desperate, but Wooyoung was not that selfish. He couldn't just take the money that was meant for his ill mother and he knew how much Mingi worked just to take care of her. His heart ached with guilt for troubling Mingi, but he was just as helpless. He felt like a burden now and regretted even calling.

"Wooyoung, I-" he let out a frustrated sigh, knowing that Wooyoung was right and Wooyoung knew Mingi felt guilty. "Where are you staying now?" Mingi asked in worry.

"I stayed at a colleague for two days I think, but I couldn't bother him any further so I wanted to ask whether I could stay with you for the time being? I am sorry, I will just find another job or something so I can rent my own place in no time, so please-"

"Are you serious right now? Of course you can stay here as long as you want, is that even a question?" Mingi asked in disbelief and he sounded so genuine that Wooyoung felt his tears well up at his luck for having a friend like Mingi.

"Thank you so much, Mingi, really I don't know how I can repay you for your kindness." He said sincerely and halted in his steps when he saw the building in front of him. He had arrived and noticed San's motorcycle missing at its usual spot.

Mingi brushed him off and told him that he could come in the afternoon when Mingi also gets home from work. Wooyoung agreed and thought about the ways to tell San that while he entered the elevator.
