Before Wooyoung entered Mingi's apartment he tried to pull himself together and wiped his tears away. He did not have the space nor the time to cry and surrender to his guilt. There was no way he would tell Mingi what he was really up to and if he knew that Wooyoung was harming a child because of egoistic reasons he would also leave him. Wooyoung would be all alone. And even if he knew Mingi would understand him and still help him at least until he has a place to stay, things would never be the same. It would all be out of pity and the feeling of responsibility and Wooyoung could not handle that.

Wooyoung sighed as he opened the door to Mingi's apartment. He had given him a spare key so he could enter whenever he finished with work. As soon as he opened the door he was met with a delicious smell and a smile grew on his lips knowing that Mingi got off work early. He buried all pain deep into his heart and tried to smile as if nothing had happened as he hurried up to take his shoes off and run towards the kitchen. He let out a sigh of relief as he noticed the take out bags on the kitchen table. Mingi stood with his back to him as he reached for two glasses in the cabinet. When he heard him sigh he turned around dramatically.

"What?" He asked offended as he watched Wooyoung already sitting down and rummaging through the bags. He took out whatever he put his hands on first and began opening it.

"Nothing. I was worried you had cooked." He said nonchalantly and took a bite of his pizza right away before even cutting it into pieces. Mingi gasped in disgust and immediately threw a kitchen knife on the table.

"I told you to stop doing that! And my cooking is not that bad," he mumbled in a pout as he also began eating his food.

"Whatever." Wooyoung said while chewing, but Mingi noticed Wooyoung acting weird, suddenly slowing down his chewing and not meeting his eyes.

"What's up?" He asked him as he also took a bite. Wooyoung took a sip of his drink and gulped hardly.

"I'm going to Tokyo in a few days."

"Wow, that's amazing, Wooyoung!" Mingi said excitedly, but noticed the way Wooyoung did not seem very happy about the news. He did not meet his eyes and began playing with his food instead of eating. Mingi put down his food and looked at Wooyoung seriously.

"Don't worry, I will look after Kyungmin while you're away! Now tell me for what you are going," he urged him and Wooyoung looked at him with thankful eyes, as if a weight was lifted off his shoulders. He knew if Choi was going to harm Kyungmin, Mingi would not be able to stop him. But at least he is sure that if Kyungmin needs something, he has Mingi by his side and that was enough to make him want to cry. He was so glad to have Mingi by his side, he would be nothing without him.

"Thank you so much, Mingi. I'm going for an investigation on a new case with San." He tried to act as if it was nothing, but he already told Mingi what was going on with San, expect the part that he was working there for Choi and exposing San to him of course. He wished he could tell him everything and get it off his chest, but not only did he not want Mingi to view him badly but he was also afraid that Choi would hurt Kyungmin if he found out he had told Mingi about their deal. Another person he felt guilty towards for lying, but Wooyoung already accepted the fact that he would continue living with this feeling from now on.

"Oh," Wooyoung heard the change in his voice and looked up immediately only to be met with the sight of Mingi smirking. "Why you sad then? I thought you were kind of interested in him." Wooyoung almost chocked on his own spit and began coughing in surprise. He felt his checks grow warm and slightly ducked his head.

"How did you come to that conclusion when I only told you about our fights?" Wooyoung asked and tried to act annoyed and nonchalant, but he was very attentive to the next words coming out of Mingi. Mingi only scoffed and shook his head.
