One thing Olivia enjoyed most about dating was the pregame. That nervous energy that fills you each time. She scrubbed, buffed, moisturized, shaved, and plucked every inch of her body. She wanted this night to be amazing. Spencer would be home in about an hour, and she wanted to be ready for whatever he had planned for them, a detail he refused to cave on, not even a hint. She knew he would need to shower, but she won't have to do it by his side. It seemed more date like doing it in that way. She scoured through her clothes, unsuccessful with finding anything she needed. It appeared that she didn't put her stuff away well enough or perhaps she didn't bring her "date" outfits because she didn't have early plans to date anyone, not even Spencer. She grabbed her phone to check what time he might be home, seeing his name pop on her lock screen.
Spencer: Go to Kianna's. Picking you up there at seven.
She found that weird and didn't understand why she had to go there unless they were doing a double date of some sort.
BabyMama😍: Why?
Spencer: Because I said so, woman.
She let that slide for the time being. However later, after finding out what he has up his sleeve, she's going to make sure he heard about him telling her what to do. Olivia wasn't letting anyone tell her what to do, that just won't work.
BabyMama😍: I'm dressed, that makes no sense.
Spencer: Well, if you must know, ms.sassy....I wanna pick you up. I want to drive to an house, knock on the door, let you take your sweet ass time answering me and then walk out hand in hand. So get your ass to Kianna's and wait for me.
There was only response she could come up with. Her fingers typed across the screen.
BabyMama😍: You tryna get some tonight?
Spencer: I think I've waited long enough.
She giggled, knowing how patient he's been, and how much of a nightmare it's been on her. Pregnancy affects everything.
BabyMama😍: Maybe tonight luck will find you in more than one way
She tossed her phone in her purse, deciding at the last minute she didn't want to see his response. That made it more fun. She grabbed her sweater, looking herself over in the mirror. Instead of a dress, she settled for jeans, being that they fit well, with a cute rose gold top. She curled her hair, letting it hang down her back in soft waves. She dressed it up with an pair of black sandal-heels and her favorite necklace and gold hoops dangling from her ears. Without knowing where she was going, this was the best outfit she could come up with. One the ride over to Kianna's, she called Eric and went over details for the building he found for expansion. He emailed her yesterday, but Olivia didn't know what to say. The longer she was in Georgia, the less confident she was about being able to leave. That said, she's put off making any final decisions regarding the expansion of the bakery.
"Olivia we gotta move fast, can't be dragging our feet with this" Her partner released an exasperated sigh.
"I have to make an offer soon"
"I'm not convinced yet"
This wasn't a lie, but she also knew it was a pretty fantastic space. Almost double what they had media wise, with an area for tables to be set up, something her store didn't have at the moment. Eric didn't say anything. Olivia waited him out, knowing that he was the one who had to think things through. One of many reasons why Olivia brought him on. He was every business savvy, always leading with his mind, never his heart, other than with the women he dated. Olivia had more impulsive tendencies. He cleared his throat.
