Every morning for Olivia started the same. Spencer would be outside her door with coffee and most of the time, breakfast. He followed her to work, searched through newspapers for jobs, then accompanied her back home. It was maddening and utterly adorable at the same time. She only managed to ward him off for the first two days he followed her. The other two times she failed miserably. She's in the bakery, looking out the porthole door as he sat there. He signed an lease, moved all of his things here, and she didn't really believe him until he showed her his apartment. Their couch, his bed, dressers, everything they shared in Harlem. It was hard to object when she still loved him, that part never changed.

"Look, I created an new cupcake flavor" Meg, their baker tells her.

"Good" She kept her gaze to him.

"I'm certain it tastes heavenly"

"Mm, yeah but I could use another opinion. You think our new squatter would try it?"

Olivia twisted to see if she heard her correctly, finding her look at Spencer through the window.

"Nah, he's not really here for that"

"Coulda fooled me, I see him, and the employees can't help but to notice him" Meg look to her with an sigh.

"He's very attractive, Liv"

"He's an ass"

"Most men are" She retracts.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go find out what he thinks. He's gotta be lonely sitting out there all day by himself, poor guy"

Only he wasn't lonely, he had an parade of woman attending to him, but he smiled politely, then looked for Olivia. It frustrated her so much. Once again, she's fallen victim to his charm. Coffee and food every morning, his attention and the man moved his whole life to an apartment in New York that she knows wasn't cheap.

"What is this, an baker thing?" She wondered aloud.

"Ya'll meddle for an living?"

Meg laughed walking out the door. Meg headed over to Spencer, sitting beside him. She giggled, and he smiled as she gave him the cupcake. He's not even close to the man she walked away from, the man sitting at that table was the Spencer she fell in love with.

"You're an fool" Eric says from behind Olivia.

"That remains to be seen"

"He's not leaving anytime soon"

"I know. That's what I'm afraid of" Olivia turned, leaning against the wall. Eric shook his head.

"I'm not gonna tell you what to do, but I will say that I've never seen an man give up his whole life for an woman he liked"

"Yeah" Olivia didn't disagree.

"I know that, but I can't let go of some of the things he said to me"

"Listen, I don't know all the details, but what I do know, is that man loves you. I can only imagine how badly you both were struggling with that kind of unimaginable grief. I'm not saying that excuses his behavior, but maybe an little understanding?"

"You don't even know him!" Olivia exasperated throwing her hands up.

"Don't gotta know him to see how much he loves you"

"Shut up" she grinned at him.

"How long are you planning on making him suffer?"

"Lets just say, I think he can hold out for an little while longer" Eric nods.

"Definitely make him feel the pain some more, just don't let it go too long or one of your employees might scoop him up and ride off into the sunset"

Meg and Spencer continue to talk and Olivia's phone buzzes, signaling an call.
