Chapter 15

*another long one boys*

"Karl get the hell off of me." I laughed placing my hands on his back and attempting to push him off my lap. I was just minding my own business, reading an email from David about an upcoming video when Karl came in and insisted on sitting on me, you know the usual.  "why don't you love me?!" he cried out, planting his feet on the floor in an attempt to stay in place. I groaned, throwing my hands up in the air in exasperation and crossing then over my head. "whatever, you can sit here but you're on typing duty then." I caved, spinning the chair back towards the desk and tucking us in. "I can do that, what do you want me to say?" he said, grabbing the mouse and opening up a new email draft. "say 'hi David, thanks for-" I was cut off by the sound of the door creaking open. I glanced over my shoulder to find Jimmy and Chris standing there. "ugh, seriously!" Jimmy groaned, pulling out his wallet as they walked further into the room.

"wait, what?" I asked, looking between the 2 as Jimmy pulled a $20 out of his wallet and handed it to Chris. "we were coming over here to tell you something and of course we couldn't find Karl. Chris bet me 20 bucks that you'd be here and he clearly won." Jimmy explained as he motioned between us while Chris danced in place, putting the money in his own wallet. "how could you have known that?" Karl asked, pushing off the desk and turning the chair to face them so he could get up, "because when were not filming you guys are literally always together and Dani likes to stay in her office like a Hermit so you would've obviously come here opposed to her going to the gaming room." Chris explained making Jimmy roll his eyes. "anyways, you guys said we're coming here to tell me something?" I enquired, picking up my coffee and taking a drink before placing it back on the desk.

"oh yeah, so you know how we're filming that 'last to leave the circle' video in 2 weeks?" Jimmy started off to which I just nodded, "well, as you know we usually pick most of the contestants for stuff like this by filtering through people who are from around here and are subscribed. Well, we were going through the selected people and you were actually one of them." he said and my mouth fell open in shock, "what? That's never happened before has it, where someone who works here got selected this way?" I asked and all 3 boys shook their heads. "oh that's so cool, yeah I'll do it." I said immediately and Jimmy raised his eyebrows in surprise, "are you sure you wanna do this Dani, this video isn't going to be an easy one to start with, you could be in that circle for weeks." Chris asked and I bit the inside if my cheek as he spoke, "I anticipate this to be a long one, hell I helped plan it but I've always secretly wanted to do a challenge video and if I was picked that had to be fate right?"

They weighed my words and exchanged a look before Jimmy finally shrugged and turned back to me, "I mean hey if you want to do it I'm not gonna stop you, plus I think it'd kinda be cool for you to experience a challenge first hand after working in then for the last few months." he said and I jumped up, pulling them all into a hug. "one thing though, can I bring a small bag with stuff like my meds and hygiene products, if it's going to be a long one I don't want to come out of it smelling bad." I asked and Jimmy laughed, "of course, we're telling everyone to bring a bag with stuff in it just don't go too crazy." he laughed as I rolled my eyes, "deal, so June 20th right?" I asked, grabbing my planner. "yup, be at the warehouse by 8." he said and I nodded along, writing as he spoke. "great, can't wait." I smiled widely and danced in my chair making then laugh, "okay we have to go film now, I'll see you at the end of the day." Karl said, kissing me on the cheek before following the guys out of the room, I can't believe this is finally happening!
