Casita Headcannons

Every member knows when someone enters there room

After the movie, Mirabel knows whenever someone else enters the house in general.

If the owner of the room is inside it, and someone knocks, they know who's trying to get in

Casita has been a babysitter before in the most desperate of circumstances.

It can be painted but if it doesn't like the color it'll strip the paint away

It lets the rats live in it for Bruno's sake

It made the hole in the wall for Bruno growing up  as a place to get away and it's still there when it's rebuilt.

It'll kick him out if he spends too much time there

It acts as wingman to any of the grandkids that get a crush, purposefully trying to force them and the object of their affection together

No violence is allowed in Casita, once it gets physical it will separate the people.

Casita alerts the most trusted adult in the grandkids lives when one of them has a nightmare

This means it doesn't alert Abuela just because it knows that the old woman will tend to make things worse.

Mirabel is the first Madrigal to talk to it rather than order it around.

Post movie they all try to talk to it.

And it is much much happier.

It can change the rooms based on how the occupants feel

I.E Bruno felt distanced from his family even before he left so the more he felt that, the more stairs were added.

Casita does not have a favorite Madrigal but it does tend to be nicest to Mirabel

Casita listens best to Abuela and Mirabel post movie, although it listens to them all.
