notes:
Nancy and Robin had been dating for exactly one year today, but Robin never even went to see Nancy at all that day. Robin had been distant the whole week. Nancy is saddened by this but little does she know Robin had been planning a little surprise.

Also robins knock is the one from the library

"I know right! I can't believe she hasn't said a word to me all day, Steve." Nancy said, phone in her hand.  "Please, Nance, she's Robin. If she actually forgot do you honestly think that's surprising? Besides, personally, between you and me, I think she has something planned. She's been working hella overtime the whole damn week." Steve said in reply as Nancy held back a cackle from how crappy he sounded over the phone.

"Maybe it's just a way of avoiding me... I think we both know I can be a really bossy girlfriend." Nancy admitted, staring at herself in the mirror. Nancy was a mess at the moment, her hair was up in a small ponytail with her bangs lazily falling out and she had one of Robin's sweaters on.  "And person in general." Nancy heard Steve mutter from the other side. Nancy grew a surprised expression "Excuse me?!"
"What?? What did I say." Steve said, teasing Nancy.

Nancy rolled her eyes as she heard a small knock on her window, but it wasn't just any knock, it was Robin's knock. Her face lit up "I'll talk to you later, Steve!" Nancy happily said, getting up to put the phone back. "See I told you she-" Steve started to say as he got cut off by the sound of the phone slamming against the wall.

Nancy turned from the phone mount on the wall, running towards her window. She unlocked it and opened it for Robin as she watched her girlfriend climb in. Robin looked over to see her girlfriend in her sweater, causing Robin to smile. "Hi, baby!" Robin said, her tone being very happy. "Hi." Nancy muttered in reply, arms crossed.

"I-Is everything ok, Nance?" Robin asked, stepping closer to Nancy after gently sitting her jacket down on Nancy's bed. Nancy nodded "Yeah, perfect. Except for the fact you've ignored me all week." Robin's face grew worried "A-And that wasn't intentional- I swear! I was working overtime because I needed some extr-"

"It's whatever." Nancy said, walking back over to her vanity and sitting down. "I look like such a mess right now I honestly don't blame you for ignoring me."
"What?! Baby, that is not true, you look beautiful." Robin replied quickly, following Nancy and hugging her from behind as the two looked in the mirror.  "See? You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen." the taller girl said with a wink, causing Nancy to blush. "Shut up." Nancy told Robin, looking away. "No." Robin replied, going over to sit on Nancy's bed.

"I missed you, Nance." Robin told her honestly as she lied down, staring at the ceiling. Nancy smiled, rolling backwards and staring at her girlfriend. "I missed you too." Robin blushed at Nancy's words, smiling brightly before she felt Nancy lay down beside her and roll over to look at Robin. Robin turned as well, becoming only inches from her lovers face.

Nancy brought her hand up, caressing Robin's face and lightly rubbing her thumb over Robin's lower lip. Robin quickly broke the eye contact, blushing a dark red. "Aw." Nancy said under her breath, leaning forward and placing a kiss on Robins forehead. "I mean it, though. I missed you a lot. You should ask Steve how many times I called him overthinking if you hated me or not."

Robin giggled "Hated you?! Baby, I could never, and I mean NEVER, hate you. You're the most amazing, strong willed, and beautiful girl I have ever seen. Even though you're so stubborn." Nancy rolled her eyes, leaning forwards and kissing her girlfriend lightly. Robin's eyebrows raised as she kissed back slightly rougher, inching herself impossibly closer to Nancy. The smaller girl's hand slid up and rested on Robin's waist, giving it a small squeeze, causing Robin to moan into their kiss.

That was one thing Nancy noticed about Robin in a relationship, Robin was so touchy and well, touch starved alone that she fell apart at the smallest action. Robin brought her legs forwards, tangling them with Nancy's as her hand went to Nancy's neck.

Nancy broke the kiss, gasping for air. However she quickly lost her breath again whenever Robin continued to kiss down Nancy's jawline and neck, sucking on all the small places that she knew rocked Nancy just right. Nancy whimpered, holding onto Robin tightly. Robin smirked as she pulled away, leaving Nancy dumbfounded.

"I got something for you." Robin said in a very sweet voice. "Oh yeah? What is it?" Nancy asked in a tease, wanting more from her girlfriend. Robin rolled her eyes. "Not that kind of something... yet. I just genuinely have something for you, sit up." Nancy obliged, sitting up as she watched Robin grab something out of her jacket pocket. Her gaze followed Robin until it couldn't anymore, and she felt the girl put a necklace on her from behind.

"Go look!!" Robin exclaimed to her girlfriend with excitement painted all over her freckled face. Nancy slowly got off the bed, walking to her vanity and looking in the mirror, gasping. Robin had bought Nancy a small necklace with a little charm that read a simple letter, N, in diamond. Nancy teared up, watching as the necklace glimmered. "It's so pretty!! I-Is it real??" Nancy asked, turning around as she met her girlfriends sweet and very loving eyes.

"Yes, baby, yes it is. Of course, I had a little help from Steve but I mainly bought it for you all on my own, that's why I have been busy all week." Nancy beamed, running back to her bed and diving into Robin's arms.  Robin smiled, rubbing small circles on her girlfriends back before proceeding. "But, of course, if you don't like it I can always take it back... I know today is our one year anniversary and I really wanted to do something special for you because you deserve it so much, Nance, you have completely rocked my world and I couldn't be more grateful, reall-"

"It's perfect, Baby." Nancy told her girlfriend honestly as she wiped one of her own stray tears, which, didn't do much as she started crying directly afterwards. "You're perfect.. You're so perfect. How in the world did I end up with you." Robin smiled, feeling a blush grow on her face. "I could ask you the same thing, sweetheart." Nancy brought her hand up to Robin's chin, making her girlfriend look down at her. "I love you." Nancy said, smiling. Robin gave a soft smile as she slowly wiped a few of Nancy's tears. "I love you too, Nance."

Robin then leaned down, kissing Nancy sweetly as Nancy did the same in return. Once the two broke apart, Robin grew a smirk on her face as she began to speak. "You wana continue what we started earlier??" She asked with a husked tone. Nancy nodded, smirking back. "Do I."
