________

It had been a few months after the "earthquake" , everyone and everything was still on severe edge, especially the few who knew this wasn't just an earthquake. Robin and Nancy had been inseparable since that night, worrying that if one woke up the other would vanish from reality itself entirely. Everywhere one of the two went, the other would follow. That was a promise they had made. They'd never be apart.

Of course, they never considered the bad that could come from such actions.

Robin and Nancy were walking through the gym of Hawkins High, about to begin helping for the day. This was something they did about once a week now. Nancy and Robin both had different things they'd work on, Nancy would sort out lost belongings, donations, etc. Whilst Robin stayed with working on making food.

As much as Nancy loved to help Hawkins, things had gotten to the point to where Nancy could hardly tolerate going to help. Because of Vicki. Vicki was the girl Robin had liked before Nancy came around, and Nancy wanted nothing more than Vicki to get out of her and Robin's life entirely.

Nancy sat beside Steve, her head digging into her arms instantly as she saw Vicki run towards Robin and hug her. Steve turned to Nancy, then to Robin and Vicki. He sighed. "Nance, you're all she talks about. I'm pretty sure you're safe. Robin would neve-"
"It's so annoying, Steve." Nancy interrupted, looking at Steve with tired eyes. "I don't want to sound clingy around Robin.. We practically just began dating but I- I want to say something so bad. I want her to know this upsets me."

"Then do it, Nance. I think we know more than anyone that secrets can ruin a relationship. Don't be afraid to tell her the truth, there's really no hurt in it." Nancy smiled at Steve's words. "Thanks, Steve. I appreciate it. But- I just- I don't- I dunno."

Suddenly, Steve and Nancy instantly looked over as they watched Vicki pull Robin outside. Steve looked at Nancy, eyes wide. "Okay I might have lied there might actually be something to worry about." Nancy shot up, motioning for Steve to follow her as the two snuck behind Robin and Vicki, watching as to what was about to happen.

Nancy and Steve peeked their heads from the corner, listening to the conversation going on between the girls.

Vicki looked up at Robin, putting her arms around Robins neck. "Y'know, Robin, I just have to tell you, you haven't been able to get out of my mind recently for some reason and I think-"
Robin lightly took Vicki's hands off her shoulders. "Vicki L-"

"No! Robin, listen to me." Vicki took a breath, looking back up to Robin. "I- I have a crush-"
Robin gave a distressed look, not knowing what to say. Nancy looked at Steve with wide eyes for a moment as her attention shot right back up to what was happening.

"I have a crush on you, Robin." Vicki finally spat, inching closer to Robin. "And I want you to be my girlfriend-"
"No." Robin said bluntly, stepping away. "What?! Why! I was told by multiple people that you had a crush on me. I- I was so sure that-"
"I did. I really did, but not anymore. You were too late. There's someone else. I'm not looking to cheat on her either. She's is literally amazing to me, and doesn't deserve that. I'd never, EVER, do that. Not even on a dare."

Vicki was left speechless, she sighed. "Can I have one thing then? Just one?" Robin shrugged, giving a confused face in curiosity as to what Vicki could want. Suddenly, Vicki started leaning closer to Robin, clearly wanting to kiss her. Robin was frozen, about to say something when Nancy finally stepped in the way.

"That's it!!" Nancy exclaimed, stomping up to the two and pushing Vicki away, Steve following shortly behind Nancy. "You stay away from Robin, do you hear me nice and clear?!" Said the girl in a very heated tone. Vicki nods slightly before running back inside almost in tears, leaving the three alone.

Nancy nods to Steve, telling him she wanted to be alone with her girlfriend. Steve happily obligated as he started inside. Once he was out of sight, Nancy's full attention went to Robin. Nancy crossed her arms, huffing. "Baby I'm so sorry. I swear that's not what-"
"I know. I'm just so- she's making me so-" Nancy took a breath. "I don't want to sound clingy... I- I'm jealous. I'm so jealous. I'm so scared that you're just gonna- Disappear. It's horrible."

Robin shook her head, grabbing Nancy's face so that the two would have forced eye contact. "Nance, Baby, I swear on my life that I am not going anywhere. I'm going to stay right here, I'm not leaving you." Nancy started to tear up, pouting like a little baby. "But Robin-"

"But what, Love? I promised didn't I? Nothings going to happen to us." Robin reassured immediately, kissing Nancy's forehead. "I've been lied to and cheated on before... Thrown around like I was some toy. Like I was just... useless. Then you came around. You're not like the past people I have dated. You're so- delicate. You...every little touch it's like i'm a delicate porcelain doll that could break any second. These past months you've filled my life with so much love that I never even knew before.. I cant bare the thought of you going away... Please don't go away." Nancy pleaded, digging her head in Robin's neck, leaving Robin to be a flustered mess.

Robin brought her hand up, rubbing small circles on Nancy's arm. "I'm not going anywhere. I will stay right here for as long as you allow me to." Robin reassured, taking in the scent of Nancy's hair. Nancy smiled slightly, placing a few kisses on Robin's neck. "Really? Because I think I want you to be right here with me for a really long time." The smaller girl said, biting her lip.

"Oh really?" Robin asked in a tease.
"Mhm."
"I might just do that." Robin said, pulling Nancy back gently as she kissed her. Nancy brought her hand up, wrapping it around the side of her girlfriends neck.

The two heard clapping as they turned to see Dustin and Steve. "You go lesbians!!" Steve cheered. "Dude that's mean-" Dustin argued. "Oh my god shut up Henderson."
"No!"

Robin looked back to Nancy and giggled before kissing her once more. Robin wasn't going anywhere.
