Robin Buckley. The absolute light of Nancy's life. Robin made Nance realize many things about herself, but most importantly Robin taught the girl who had been almost handed everything she's ever wanted her whole life; patience. Robin made Nancy a better person in every way.

However, with knowing how much she impacts Nancy's life, Robin has recently in the last months developed quite the issue with hiding her problems. It's not that she didn't trust Nancy with them, in fact, Nancy knew more about her than even Steve did. Robin just wants to stay as strong as she can for her.

The last few weeks though, it's been hard. Vecna has made his comeback, Max finally woke up, El wasn't doing well, and finally.. Will and Mike were.. dating? It was... A lot to take in.

And so, the two find themselves venturing in the upside down, searching for some type of.. well. Something. In Will's house. With Steve. Robin didn't question it when they were asked to go and look for the item, it would actually make perfect sense. Maybe the answer to all of this is where is started, right? But.. Wait. Didn't it start.. At the lab? At the creel house even? God, Robin wishes constantly that she was never let in on the secrets of this town. They only break her brain and make her want to leave even worse than before.

As the group approached the house, Robin sighed quite audibly as she picked up the lousy walkie-talkie she was given by Dustin just before they left. She pressed one of the few tiny, plastic buttons before speaking. "We're approaching the house now.. over." Robin whispered, taking a deep breath. She had no clue why she felt so exhausted with all of this, I mean, she was doing something good, right? But if she was doing something good now, what about her past "good doings"? Robin felt like a baby sitter to some dark magic she couldn't even control. And technically, well, she was.

Robin jumped as she was suddenly snapped out her thoughts when Will replied from the other side of the line. "Hey.. S-So, this is going to sound stupid, and you may not like it but.. When you get in there, I need you to look for any and all things DND. Drawings most preferred. Over." Robin groaned. Of course they wanted the three to grab multiple things. Of course. "Copy that. Thanks. Over!" Robin replied, shoving the walkie-talkie in her bag as she lightly jogged up to Nance and Steve.

"Well. Just thought i'd let you both know we're looking for ALL of Will's old DND merchandise. Oh, yeah. Drawings preferred." Robin said in an annoyed voice as she took a deep breath. Nancy shared a worried glance with her girlfriend for a moment. "I mean, that's really no problem. There's three of us and we all have bags. Why are you so upset, babe?" Nance asked, looking Rob up and down for a moment.

Robin smiled warmly at Nancy as Nance's eyes practically burned through her. "I'm not upset, Doll. Just don't want to be doing this." Robin commented, clearly upset. Nancy nodded "I-"
"Are we going in or what?" Steve interrupted, rolling his eyes. "Lovebirds." He then commented, gagging rather anticlimactically. Robin gave Steve her classic you're fucked face before she began following, slowly, into the house.

Of course, the house was disgusting. It was on the upside down, so, no surprises there. But it was.. more disgusting than usual. It looked like something had been there, and recently. Robin started to freak out for a moment. God, what if Will was leading them straight to Vecna?! Then what?! They die!

Robin bit on her lip for a moment, looking around the room. "Guys, I- I'm not so sure about this. Do you all not see how ransacked this looks?! Wh- What if- You know.."

Nancy exchanged a worried stare with Steve for a moment. Robin is usually more brave than this. "Robin. We all have each other. And, you heard what Hopper said didn't you? This is more than likely our very LAST battle. Then, everything will be safe again. We gotta save Hawkins." Steve assured, looking down at the gun Nancy was holding. "And... Besides. I'm pretty sure Nancy would destroy anybody who even came near you."

Robin smiled for a moment, before deciding to reply. "Of course she would, that's exactly why I love her. But.. Steve. We have had to save Hawkins how many times now?! Subtracting me, I think it's been about.. Hmm. Let me th- FIVE. Steve this is worthless. I wish I would've never found out about all this- this bullshit."

Nancy sighed, knowing she used to almost feel the exact same. "Robin, Sweetheart. I really do think this is the last battle. Can you please hold on? We can't control or turn back time to make sure that you weren't dragged into all this. But what we can do.. Is give this bullshit one last run. And if we can't do it? We can't. But I know we need to try. This isn't only threatening to Hawkins.. this- this is threatening to the whole world. You heard what El said. So, please."

Robin rolled her eyes, deciding to oblige as she carried on, further into Will's house. It was then that Robin heard the walkie-talkie making muffled noise from her bag. Rob quickly pulled the walkie talkie out, eyes widening when she only managed to hear "Code Red" before the talkie died.

"D-Did that thing just say-"
"Steve. Don't ask stupid questions. Yes, yes it did."
"Shit."
Nancy sighed, making sure her gun was ready to shoot. Nancy was always prepared, Robin loved that about her. However, none of them were prepared for whenever a demogorgon came crawling through a hole in the ceiling. "Ah! We found the new houseguests. How cute, Amirite?" Robin commented, grabbing a knife from inside her bag. Her mother gave it to her, and it was frankly one of the only gifts she has received from her mother at all. So of course, she was going to put it to good use.

"Oh yeah, so cute." Nancy commented, a smile growing on her face. She then lifted her gun towards the reptilian looking monster (so descriptive guys i know!) just as it pounced.
Nancy gasped, diving away from it's impact.

Robin, whom was now placed right in the way of the monster, took her knife, slicing its stomach before kicking it backward. "Take that, asshole!" Robin spat, throwing her knife up in the air and catching it swiftly.

The fight wasn't over however, and the demogorgon was now angrier than ever as it ran straight toward Robin. "Shit!" Robin whispered under her breath before a few gunshots were fired right into it's head as it fell. Rob gasped, looking over to Nancy. She was officially head over heels for that woman.

Robin smiled lovingly at Nancy, whom was making her way over to Robin. "Are you hurt?" Nancy asked, grabbing Robin's face and looking for any cuts or bruises. "I'm okay, honey. I'm okay." Robin replied, leaning forwards and placing a quick peck on Nancy's lips. Nancy smiled softly, feeling herself absolutely melt at the affection. "Alright. If you're sure."

Nancy then looked over to Steve. "We ready to keep going?"

Steve nodded swiftly. "PLEASE. I don't want you to hooking up down here." He commented, smirking afterward as he skedaddled down the hallway. Robin cackled, bringing her hands up to Nancy's waist. (she put the knife away guys i feel the need to mention this LMAO)

Nancy pressed her forehead against Robin's. "Please just hold on, alright? Carry through this. Keep going, for me? You should've just told me you were worried in the first place, I would've listened. It's okay not to be strong." Nancy said as she pulled away, giving a worried look. Robin nodded, leaning forward once again and pressing a loving kiss on Nancy's lips. "Alright. I love you, and i'm really sorry.."
"I love you too! And, it's no biggie. But we DO however have to finish this jaunt. So, cmon!"
