"Halloween has got to be the worst night ever." Robin said, looking to her best friend Steve as he put some silly ghostbusters costume on. "It's fun, Rob. I'm chaperoning, sure, but also having fun with all the kids. Doesn't a night out after all this recent mayhem sound nice?" Robin shrugs in reply, hiding her head in her hands. "It's like -300 degrees out there and I'm currently fighting an internal battle over who I decided to fall for. So, no, running around getting candy with a bunch of people dressed in cheap dollar general bought costumes does not sound fun to me."

"Cmon Ro, please. Just try to go? Nancy probably won't even come out at all tonight. You don't have to worry about that." Steve pleads, causing Robin to sigh. "Why did I have to fall for the straight girl?! Why couldn't I just..."
"Robin, we don't know if she's actually straight or not yet. Just chill out. I mean sure, you told the wrong person about your crush on her and now everybody knows but-'
"Steve."
"Right, sorry."

Robin exhales deeply, standing up from Steve's couch. "I'll go. But I am not dressing up. And I am NOT going to the Wheeler house." Steve smiles, hugging Robin unexpectedly "I'm proud of you, Rob." Robin's expression softens for a moment. "T-Thank you?"

Once Steve pulls away from Robin, he instantly runs upstairs excitedly. Robin shakes her head, watching him. Who knew what he was going up there for. But did she really want to know? After a couple moments passed, Steve came downstairs with a small spider hairpin. "At least wear thissss?" He pleas, pouting.

Robin laughs gently, taking the hair clip and positioning it above her ear, pinning back some of her bangs in the process. "Fineee." She says, rolling her eyes. "When are you leaving, by the way? It's already six-" Steve's eyes widened suddenly. "It- It's already six?!"
"Yea-"
"Shit we gotta go, cmon Rob."

As the evening went by, everything was quite peaceful. Steve was right, Robin was desperate for fun. Everything that evening seemed perfect, too perfect. And just as she suspected, it was. Now, Robin is finding herself being dragged to the Wheeler's house by Eleven and Max.

"Guys please- listen I just-"
"You'll be fine, Robinnnn!" Max reassures, Stepping up to the front door. "Yeah, fine!" Eleven agrees, walking alongside Max as she rang the doorbell. Robin took a deep breath, practically hiding behind the two younger girls. Nancy, of course, answers the door. She smiles at El and Max, not even noticing Robin at first. "Hello you two! You're getting too old to be trick or treating, don't you think?"

"No!" El replies quickly, snatching candy straight from Nancy. She smiles, rolling her eyes. "Are you here with- oh." She starts, staring up at Robin. "Buckley.."
Robin bites her tongue roughly turning away. "Wait!! Robin, please.." Nancy quickly intervenes, putting her hand on Robin's shoulder as she steps outside.

Max and El quickly run back over to Steve, high fiving as they make their way back over. Turns out, this was a minor plan all along. Robin tears up slightly, shaking. "Nancy- Listen- This was all just a huge mistake and I- I don't actual-"
"Robin, honey." Nancy interrupts, gently holding onto Robin's shaking hand. "Calm down, you're okay. Let's go inside, yeah?"

Robin bites down on her lip, nodding as she was led inside by Nancy, who shut the porch lights off and the front door very quickly. Suddenly, all Robin's pent up emotions had released as she began to sob, being instantly met by Nancy's embrace. "You're okay, it's okay." Nancy reassured, ruffling through Robin's hair and looking at the tiny spider clip. "That's cute." She commented, smiling.

Robin pulled back. "I- I'm so sorry Nancy. I didn't mean to catch feelings for you.. I-"
Nancy cups Robin's face gently, scanning her expression. "Why are you so scared, Ro? You really think I don't like you back?"

"W-What??" Robin questions, her baggy eyes widening. Nancy giggles. "Isn't it obvious? I'd give anything to be with you. I've had feelings for you for a while now, Rob." Robin smiles, looking down at the ground.

Nancy leans forwards, kissing Robin sweetly. The adrenaline in the air was strong as the two kissed, this was something they had yearned for for so long, and now they had it. Right in their hands. It was like sparks soared around them.

knock knock knock!!

The two jump, looking over to the door and opening it to see a somewhat annoyed looking Steve. "Okay Ms. I'm too scared to talk to her Buckley what the hell is this." He comments, crossing his arms. Robin shrugs, smiling awkwardly. "Let's go home." Steve says, motioning his head for Robin to follow him. Robin looks over to Nancy, smiling warmly. Nancy smiles back.

"Call me?"

"Of course."

Robin takes a deep breath, pecking Nancy's lips once more before running out of the front door. Nancy smiles, blushing a deep shade of crimson. This Halloween was definitely a treat. She couldn't wait to see what the future held.
