TW CHAPTER, SELF HARM!! MENTIONS OF SUICIDE!!
notes: Ronance broke up a year ago, and Robin had mainly masked her emotions, until she couldn't anymore.

if y'all don't give me suggestions i swear.

Everything felt like a blur in that moment as Robin fell onto the floor, shutting her eyes wearily as blood covered her arms, moving down to the cold and very soaked floor. That was the last thing she remembered, and now, she was laying in Steve's bed, wearing one of Steve's shirts. She had known Steve found her and took care of her, but she didn't really mind. She trusted Steve.

Robin went to sit up but quickly went back down as her stomach stirred. Everything was aching, Jesus. She must admit, waking up was never pleasant since Nancy left her life, but it was never this awful. Never. She winced, rolling on her side. She quickly processed that her wrists were wrapped in white bandages, so Steve took care of that too. She lightly smiled. She didn't deserve to have a friend like him. He helped her through it all in the past 14 months.

"Rob?" Steve questioned, opening his bedroom door to see a very exhausted and torn Robin. He gave a sympathetic look, walking over to her with a bag. "One of the meds I had to give you for the pain might make you sick, so, here. How did you sleep?" Steve asked as he watched Robin shrug, expressionless. Steve knew she was so tired, he felt awful. "Why didn't you tell any of us, Ro."

"I-" Robin started, her voice quickly breaking away. She shut her eyes tight, beginning to tear up. "Sorry.." Robin managed to whimper out, opening her vibrant blue eyes. "You don't need to be sorry," Steve started as he sat on the side of the bed. "I just want to know why. Eddie and I were worried sick when we found you. You were shivering, barely conscious... Just.. You- You weren't Robin."

Robin struggles to sit up, but finally manages. She curls her knees to her chest as she looked at him. "Nance." She whispered, biting down on her lip. Steve hissed in realization. "But I thought you were over her.. Why did you lie?"

"I didn't want you to be worried... I- I'm still in love with her Steve and it's been a fucking year. I'm so pathetic for holding onto the past but those two years.. They meant the world to me. She was perfect. I know we broke up on a whim after people found out and exposed us and she panicked and like never talked to me again but.. but I.."

"You what, Robin?" Steve asked, scanning her face for the smallest change in emotion. "I saw her kissing him." Robin groaned, digging her head into her knees. "And it was like.. All the pain I had masked.. It unleashed. It hurt.. It hurt so bad, Steve." Steve gave a concerned look, processing who he was. Jonathan. But... That couldn't be right. From what he heard, Nancy and Jonathan were staying as far as possible from eachother.. Weird.

Steve lightly patted on Robin's knee, standing up. "I'll let you rest. Thank you so much for telling me." He thanked, beginning to walk out of the room. Robin sighed as she layed back down, throwing her blanket over her head.

Steve gently shut the door, rushing down the stairs. "Is she okay?" Eddie asks, looking at Steve with a concerned expression as he sat on the couch. "She's.. She's hanging in there.... Hey, uh, do you remember Nancy's number?"

"Nancy? Why Nancy?" Eddie asked, confused. Steve raised his eyebrow at Eddie, trying to make him understand. Eddie gasped "Oh."
"Yeah, Oh." Steve mocked, grabbing the phone book and flipping through a few pages.

"There it issss-" Steve said, a low tone of focus in his voice as he dialed the number.
