I walked into my office at the event planning firm I worked at and saw tons of vases of flowers all over.

"Janie, where did these come from?" I asked my secretary/assistant.

"They came in this morning. The delivery guy asked for your office and just started delivering them." She said peeking in my office as I just stood looking at the vases of daises, sunflowers and roses. I found a card with the sunflowers.

-Faith,

We were so sorry to hear about you and Ransom. Just know we always love you. Hope these brighten your day.

Linda & Richard Drysdale-

"Wow, seriously." I said. I passed the daises and saw another card.

-Faith,

You did the right thing dumping Ransom. Be a strong independent woman. I love you girl and I'll always be here.

Joni

P.S. Sending you tons of Flam products to keep the skin beautiful and glowing!-

"For fucks sake..." I grumbled. It was then I noticed a vase of red roses and a vase of pink and white mixed. I grabbed the card from the red roses.

-Faith,

I'm not exactly sure what happened with you and Ransom because as the family berated him I tried following you, making sure you were okay, but you were too fast for me. You are always welcome to come and see me whenever. You will always be like a granddaughter to me.

Harlan-

I smiled at this, he would be the one to send me kind words and actually mean them. I sighed knowing who the last were from. I found the card and closed my eyes before taking a deep breath before I could read the card. I opened my eyes and read.

-My Faithy,

You were always my light in the darkness, my faith when I thought all hope was lost, my love and life. I know I fucked up and I need you back. I want to talk about everything...rationally...no yelling as you pack your bags and not you just walk out. I just want to discuss us. I love you Faithy.

Your Ransom-

I sighed sitting down and putting my head in my hands. I didn't need this. Ransom sent me a mix of pink and white roses because he knew I could never pick a favorite. I was done, finished with him. He needed to just back off and leave me alone.

"Faith, you okay?" Janie asked coming in my office with a coffee.

"Yeah just a bad weekend." I said and she looked at me.

"Well remember when I told you I left Ransom?" I asked and she nodded.

"Well he hadn't told his family and needed me to help his this weekend at a birthday for Harlan. Needless to say the entire family found out in a bad way that we had broken up and I just bailed the minute the news broke. These are from Ransom and his family." I said motioning to all the flowers. She went around reading the cards. She stopped at reading Joni's.

"This chick is crazy." Janie said and we laughed.

"Yeah, well that's Joni. You remember when we all met the whole family?" I said and Janie nodded.
