Aria's POV

Now that im already 18. Kuya Liam finally agreed to my wish - ang makapamasyal sa ibang bansa.

And now im heading to California.

Magkikita kami roon ng bestie ko.

I will finally see her again.

Im lucky kasi mabait ang katabi ko sa eroplano.An old lady.

"Is it your first time?" tanong sa akin ng matandang katabi ko.

"No. But actually its my first time to travel abroad by myself.So im little nervous.Im with my brother the last time we went to hongkong thats why." sagot ko naman.

"Dont worry you can make it.You would never know you already at your destination.Just relax! Me? I always travel visiting my daughter and grandson."

I smile."But are they visiting you at Philippines too?"

"My grandson visits me once in a while.How old are you?"

"Im eighteen lola."

"Oh.You had boyfriend?" tanong ulit ng matandang katabi ko. Magaan ang pakiramdam ko sa kanya kaya sumasagot ako.

Umiling ako.

"Thats good!One day i will meet you and my grandson! He is already 22!" wika nito habang nakangiti.

"Lola!" nabiglang sabi ko.Mukhang balak pa ako nitong imatch sa apo niya.

"Hope to see you again.Anyway here is my card.And i also had a grandson from my sister in Germany.It would be lovely if they will meet you!"

"Lola you are such a tease!" birong sagot ko pero kinuha ko na rin yung calling card nito.

Makalipas ang ilang oras na byahe ay sa wakas lumapag na rin ang eroplanong sinasakyan ko.

Im on my way palabas ng harangin ako ng isang taga immigration.

Tinignan niya ang passports ko at ibang dokumento. Napansin marahil ni Sophia na kanina pa ako kinakaway kaya ito lumapit.

"Ms. Thomas can we invite you for an interview?" the person incharge said politely to me.

Kinabahan ako.

Anong problema sa dokumento ko?

"Yes sir.But can i go with her.My friend?" tanong ko sabay turo kay Sophia.

Pumayag naman ito.Sinamahan pa kami ng dalawa pang taga immigration sa isang office.

The officer in charge ask me questions.Rob - based on his nametag.

"You are a Filipina?" Rob ask me.

"Yes."

"You've been loving there for how long?"

"Almost one decade and a half."

"Something wrong with your documents and its state here that you were not really a Filipina.Is this your first time to travel with your documents?"

"How come? Oh! I've been to Hongkong two years ago but i didnt know if thats the documents i used.My brother take care of it that time.I've turned eighteen a month ago and i got my passport a week ago." paliwanag ko pero nakakadama na ako ng sobrang takot.

"Im sorry miss but according to your documents you violate some procedures.And do you know the consequences of it?" seryosong tanong nito.

Umiling ako.

"You may imprisoned and will be charged." wika nito.Hindi matapang ang pagkakasabi nito pero natakot ako.

Binigyan niya kami ng time na makapag-usap ni Sophia.

"Bestie please pa-contact sila kuya.Kung sino ang available kina kuya Albie,  Brie,  Chael at Garett.Ito yung cellphone ko." pakiusap ko kay Sophia.

"Oo ako ang bahala.Wag kang basta basta sasagot ng tanong nila.Hintayin mo ang sasabihin ng mga kuya mo ha?" sagot naman ni Sophia saka niyakap ako ulit.

Mas matindi pa ang nararamdaman kong takot ng dinala ako sa isang opisina sa secondfloor.Naroon din ang ibang tao na nagkaroon ng problema sa dokumento at sa kanilang citizenship.

Naiwan na sa labas si Sophia para tawagan sila kuya at saka binawalan na rin siyang sumama sa akin.

Apollo's POV

Im at the middle of the board meeting when my phone ring.

My Princess Avery Calling...

I excuse myself and answer the call immediately.Hindi basta-bastang tumatawag si Avery kung hindi importante ang sasabihin nito kaya kinabahan ako.

Hello may i speak with Apollo? boses ng nasa kabilang linya.Alam ko na agad na hindi si Avery iyon.

Yes.Speaking.Who are you?You're not Avery!

Ah.Im Sophia.Im-

Yes you are her beatfriend.Why?Is there something happen to her? Where is she?

Oh actually we are at the foreign affairs.The immigration caught her.Something about her citizenship.We are here at California.I do not know what to do.I dont know where you are but we need your help.I cant reach Liam and others.

I sigh and said.Im coming.

Pagkasara ko ng phone ay ikinancel ko agad ang board meeting.

I instructed my PA to ready my chopper and my secretary to track Avery's exact location in California using her mobile.

After an hour ay nakarating na kami sa California.Buti na lang at nasa Las Vegas lang ako.

Sobrang kaba ang nararamdaman ko para kay Avery.I dont know pero parang naninikip ang dibdib ko na isipin pa lang na parang ini-interogate ito.

Maybe Liam doesnt notice some irregularities in Avery's citizenship.

Pagbaba ng chopper ay pinuntahan ko agad si Sophia.Nakasunod lang sa akin si Taylor at ang bodyguard ko na si Roy. Humiwalay si Jiane para kausapin ang mga dapat kausapin.

I saw her instantly.Of course i know Avery's bestfriend.

Agad akong nagsalita."Sophia.Im Apollo." sabay lahad ng kamay ko na agad naman niyang tinanggap.

And then dumating si Jiane.

"Sir you may speak to the OIC and Ms. Aria at the second floor!" wika ni Jiane sa akin.

Humarap ako kay Sophia at inaya siyang sumama sa akin sa taas.

I talked to the immigration officers.My legal lawyer came also.

Then i received a call from Liam.

Is she okay? tanong agad sa akin ni Liam

Yes.

I never expect this to come. But in that case, ang usual na solusyon para makalusot ay kung mapapalitan ang status niya. May iba pa bang sinabi ang nakausap mong lawyer?

Actually thats what atty. Rosch told earlier.The best way.sagot ko.Di ko alam kung aagree ba ito.But i'll do my best para lang di mapahamak si Avery.

Apollo.There is no choice.Please help her.I owe it to you. pakiusap ni Liam sa akin.Its the first time na gagawin niya iyon sa akin.

Hindi na ako nag isip pa.

Then we will do it.My secretary and PA will provide the documents needed immediately.And will talk to the immigration.She will be with me until you came.Okay .Bye.

After the call i look at Avery.

"What did he say?Garett im afraid, what will happen to me?" naiiyak na tanong sa akin ni Avery.

Lumapit ako sa kanya at hinawakan ang kanyang kamay.

"We will getting married later.Its your only way out.Please excuse me for a while.I will release you soon." paninigurado ko sa kanya. Hinalikan ko muna ang kanyang noo bago umalis.
